Adrianna had never done ecstasy before in her life but with her heard pounding in her chest, her head spinning and waves of euphoria clouding her judgment at every given moment- this is what she assumed it felt like. She couldn't think straight, couldn't breathe straight, it was like she'd lost all ability to function. Her entire world spinning from one simple action, and action that made her finally feel like all the hell on earth was worth it, that she would take all the bad times over again to experience this over again.

Her hands in his hair, his on her waist while his lips fulfilled some kind of unspoken prophecy against hers. The kiss so delicate, almost as if they feared the other pulling away and regretting the motion instantly. No matter how gentle the kiss, they both felt it between them, the sense of sudden urgency, all the years of hurt broken as their lips moved against each other as if it was the last thing they'd ever do.

Breathless and incoherently they pulled away and simply stared at each other, both of them almost trembling with anticipation as to who would break the silence between them. Her hands removed themselves from his hair and dropped to her lap, where he's quickly positioned them between his own. His thumb tracing her knuckle absentmindedly as he glanced at their now intertwined fingers. The touch should feel so new to them but it doesn't, it feels like something they've been missing this whole time, something they once had and only now longed for.

Addie's eyes trailed to follows Joe's, them now both admiring their hands intertwined. Her stomach feeling like someone released and entire summer season worth of butterflies as he traced over a tattoo placed on the side of her wrist. He smiled as his thumb rubbed over the ink, feeling the slight raise along the lines.

"An L?" He asked softly, breaking the silence for the first time. His eyes met hers and she noticed the questioning look in his eyes. She chuckled lightly and placed her right arm so the same area was showing, there lay an R.

"Adrianna do not tell me you've got your rights and lefts tattooed just so you don't forget" he laughed. Addie sheepishly smiled and nodded.
"God what am I going to do with you my love?" He laughed shaking his head.

"I was always terrible at my lefts and rights" she shrugged defensively, a playful smile resting on her lips.

"You really always were- I remember driving with you and you screamed for me to take a right on the motorway and then 20 minutes later explain that you meant left and that we were now heading in the complete opposite direction." He stated. "We took a 2 hour detour because I physically had no way off the motorway for miles" he laughed. Addies face matched his, red cheeks from the kiss and the laughing, and a smile so wide she felt her jaw ache. A comfortable silence lay over them for a moment before Addie broke it.

"I have more" she smiled.

"Huh?"

"Tattoos" she replied. "I have more" she added. Joe cocked an eyebrow up at her while nodding slightly, signalling for her to continue talking.
"I have 5- these two on my wrists" she states. She quickly grabs her leg, not caring that her dress is bunching up slightly.
"There's this one" she smiled looking down at it. On the inside of her ankle was a small tattoo that said 'Elle'. She told Joe the story of how her and Elle went out drinking one night and Elle had dared her to get a tattoo so she did and somehow they both were so drunk they ended up with the tattoo being each other's names.

She quickly rolled up her sleeve on her dress revealing another tattoo on the inside of her arm.

"Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt." Joe spoke softly as he traced the words on her skin. "What does it mean?"

"It's from a book, I won't say the title because it sounds sadistic if I do. I liked the quote however, I feel like everyone who reads it sees a different meaning. To me it's what I imagine death feels like- everything is beautiful and you can enjoy it because nothing hurts anymore" she shrugged. Joe looked at her solemnly for a moment, his heart breaking that she thought death sounded beautiful to her.
