The next day was Monday great, but you know what they say, "another day another nickel." Actually I've never heard anyone say that. I heard of it on Spongebob. Matter of fact I don't
know what that expression means.

I got up out of my comfy bed to go to the closet and get my clothing. I put on my white, plain T-shirt and my ripped skinny jeans followed by my beaten up red converse. I went to the mirror and I looked so gross. Well a little makeup will help. I put mascara on my long eyelashes and eyeliner to emphasize my hazel eye color. I put on my cat eye to give my eyes a type of feline look followed by a little natural color eye shadow. I don't put on a lot of makeup, if anything just lip balm.

I put my brown locks of hair in a messy low bun. Whatever, school ends in 3 months. I put on my bracelets and necklace followed by book bag. I looked at my phone and saw the time was 6:45am "Oh shit I'm running late!" I ran downstairs and stuffed my mouth with the toast my dad made for me. "Woah, woah, slow down you're going to fall." My dad laughed. while i grabbed my breakfast to go, I shook my head. "I'm late!" I said trying not to choke on my food. I kissed his head and grabbed my skate board. "Love you dad!" A piece of toast fell from my mouth. He chuckled again.

I skated at the speed of light trying not to slip on the wet concrete. My school was just a couple blocks away. I would drive my car but theres so much traffic on the way there. I would get like two hours late to class. Once I got to the school zone I hopped off my skate running like crazy. I have to get to the 3rd floor before the bell rings, the hallways turn into a busy ant farm. I don't think five minutes to get to class is enough.

I looked at my phone I have three minutes. I ran up the three floors exhausted. I opened the door and the lecture already began. All eyes on me as I entered the room. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. You could probably hear my thoughts. "Ms.Anderson, you're late..Again, take a seat." I gulped hard taking my seat next to Zach. "Woke up late again huh?" He whispered. I nodded ashamed. I put my board under my desk and didn't want to make eye contact with Mr.Rosen. He's our history teacher. The grumpiest one there is too. He somehow always manages to talk about how he fought in Iraq before the bell rings. This is my most boring class too. The only benefit of it is that at least I have Zach and a couple of my other friends.-

Once the bell rung it was time for art class. Yes! Everyone in that class loved me since I was one of the best painters. Before I got to the water fountain I looked around for my prince. Here's where we usually meet. In a second I was pinned to the wall and lips were on mine. "I almost thought you wouldn't show up." I joked. "Liar." Eric laughed. He was always the first one to be in the hallways to wait for me. I looked over Eric's shoulder and saw Jessica. Eric's ex. I gulped hard. I was kind intimidated by her. "um, I have to get to class." I pushed Eric off and walked into class. I had her for that class. I usually minded my own business and tried to avoid Jessica and her minions as much as I could.

I walked in quickly and bumped into her. "Um, watch yourself, kay?" I didn't say anything and took my seat next to Mia. One of my friends from our clan of seven. What I loved about Mia was that she wasn't scared of anything or anyone. I idolized her big time. "Jessica pickin on you again?" I slightly nodded sliding deeper into my seat. "Forget her, she's just jealous you're with Eric." I looked at her. She wore a confident smirk. That lightened my mood up again. I just have to ignore that disease filled rat.
