After last night Jack hasn't left me alone for a second. "This is where the box is.. Stay in the car." I nodded. I certainly didn't like cemeteries. I watched him walk around the tombstones looking for a specific name. There were so many people here. They were just strolling around. Then I saw Jack walk towards a man who was just standing there, doing nothing. Jack kept looking down, they are going to bump into each other hard if that dude doesn't move. Suddenly Jack just, walk through him?! I covered my mouth in shock. I rolled up the windows and locked the doors. I think these are spirits? The thought scared me. He stopped in front of grave and kneeled. I watched him read what the tomb. There was a little girl standing beside him. She was just watching him. Jack ran his fingers through his hair before picking something up and making his way back to the car. I saw the little girl crying and running after him. She wants the box. "Wait, Jack!"
I ran up to him which made him have a confused look. "What?" He shrugged his shoulders. "I need the box." He hesitantly resisted after what happened last night. "Do you trust me?" He paused uncertain and slightly nodded giving me the box. I walked back to the grave Jack was at and saw the little girl walk beside me. I kneeled in front of the little girl. "Hello," She shyly looked up at me and then back down. "What's your name?" She pointed at the engraved words on the tomb. "Lily huh?" She nodded. "Well Lily, I know you must really like this-" She opened the box. It was a musical box. A ballerina popped up dancing to the symphony the box played. She smiled and giggled watching the ballerina dance. "Oh I understand," I sat down on the damp ground. "I once had a musical box too. My mother gave it to me as a gift when I was born. It was a mermaid instead though. And it played the most beautiful song. But when my mother passed away I left it for her on her grave." I kept looking at the dancing ballerina. "But my friend and I need your very special ballerina to help us solve a mission. I would be really thankful if you could give it to us." She closed the box and hesitantly nodded. "Thank you so much Lily, you don't know how appreciative I am of you for this." I stood up and smiled at her one last time. "Goodbye." I made my way back to Jack's car. "Who were you talking to?" He put the car in reverse. Lily waved at me one last time. "The girl who owned this box. Its strange you couldn't see them. You being an angel and all." His eyes grew wide, "Them?! There were more of them?" I nodded. "They were everywhere. I guess it has to be some affect from the curse." Jack nodded. "And I guess I can't see them because I'm in the human world." I opened the
music box and watched the ballerina dance. Jack closed the box. You shouldn't have that around you. Its bad luck. I'll go call Theodor, we can finally destroy these heirlooms." I sighed leaning my head against the headrest. Finally. "But," I lifted my head. "But?" I repeated. "We need to make one more
stop.." Jack smirked. I wonder what this mischievous angel has in mind?
