Once the clock struck 12:00am I slowly pulled out my luggage from my closet. I grabbed all my clothes as shoved all the clothing in the bag. I wiped the closet, the drawers, everything. I can't wait till tomorrow. I called Jack..
"Hello?" His voice was deep and cute.
"Jack! We have to leave to Georgia tonight! My dad won't let me go and tomorrow he wants me to accompany him to meet his girlfriend's parents. It's now or never." I whispered.
"Damn, alright. I'm on my way. Be ready when I come." Jack hung up.
I grabbed my sweatpants and tank top putting them on. I put on my beat up converse and opened my window. I can't go by the front door. I have an alarm that beeps every time the door opens. I don't know how to disable it. I grabbed all my sheet and double knotted them on the ends to make a "rope like" escape.
A couple minutes later I get a text from Jack. "I'm outside." I open the window slowly and look down. "Shit that's a long fall." I see Jack's car. He runs out. "What are you doing?!" He whisper yells. "I can't leave by the front door! I'm gonna drop my bag!" I whisper yell back. I got the heavy bag and pushed it out the window landing hard on the ground. "Be careful!" Jack said. I threw down the sheets and tied the end to the leg of my bed. I inhaled and exhaled placing my foot in the ledge of the window. I held on tightly moving at a super slow pace. My feet were now dangling and the only thing I could see from my room was the ceiling. I put my feet on the wall to climb down like how mountain hikers do. But then the bed started moving towards the window which caused the rope to move down and my feet slipped. "shit!" I heard Jack say. I looked up and saw I haven't moved much. I looked down and saw Jack not to far away. I slowly moved down using muscle power. Until the sheet started ripping. "Jack! Jack!" I whisper yelled. "I'm gonna fall!" I panicked. The sheets ripped faster. "I'll catch you!" the sheet ripped and I went down like a bomb. I didn't fall in his arms like in most movies, I fell on top of him. Luckily I didn't crush him. "Ow!" My leg landed in the worst position. "Ouch, are you okay?" I was now on top of Jack. Don't panic, don't panic. I nodded. There was a moment of silence between up. I tried getting up quickly and limped my way over to the car. Jack got my bag and put it in the trunk. I sat in the front seat with hissing pain. "Carlie your leg!" I looked down and saw there was a huge bleeding scratch that went down from my knee to my ankle. "It's fine, I'll live. I must have scraped myself on the fall down." I said cleaning the blood with a napkin. "Want me to heal it?" I shook my head. "Nah lets get out of here before my dad wakes up." Jack shrugged his shoulders and headed towards Theodor's house.-
"Woah, the houses around here are mansions." I said looking around. "From where did Theodor get so much money." I asked pressing the napkin against my leg. "Angels, they pay good money." Jack parked in front of a white mansion. Jack got out the car and opened my door. "Theodor will give you the right meds to heal your leg. My treatment is a little more, painful." I looked at the house and saw what a huge walk. I groaned. "Want me to carry you?" He asked. I paused for a sec and tried standing up. "um, I, I'm okay." I lied. "You sure? It's a lot of steps." I nodded. I limped my way to the front door. It felt like it would take forever but I made it. Jack knocked on the door and blood dripped down to my sock. Gross. Jack rung the bell. a minute or two later Theodor opened the door squinting. He had his robe on and put on his glasses. "Jesus christ Jack do you know what time is it?" Jack put my arm around his neck and walked me inside. "She's hurt. You got anything that could help?"
The inside of the house was huge. There was a white couch, a flat screen t.v across. A long stairway going upstairs and a huge painting hung over the couch. This house looks like it costed a couple thousand. He nodded. "Sit her on the couch." Well there goes a perfectly nice couch. Now my DNA is gonna be all over it. Jack helped me lay on the couch and Theodor came over with a box full of bandages and medicines. Theodor first got the healing bandages and soaked them in hydrogen peroxide. "Now this might sting just a tad.." He pressed it against my leg. "OH F-BOMB!" I chewed on my bottom lip trying not to curse. He rubbed the gauge up and down cleaning the cut up. "That hurts like bloody hell!" I cringed. Jack laughed. I glared at him. He stopped automatically. "There we go. We're done." He wrapped the bandages around my leg. He went to the kitchen and brought a cup of water. He looked around in the first aid kit again and pulled a leaf out, crushing it into the water."Now drink this and it will numb the pain in a couple minutes. You might feel funny but it's all part of the healing process." He gave me the cup and I chugged it down. It tasted a little like coconut for some reason.
"So what happened?" Theodor started putting everything away. We need to leave to Georgia by tonight. Her dad doesn't let her go so we're running away." Theodor chuckled in sarcasm. "Fantastic. Alright well, I already have my bags so lets get out of here."
