"Alright so turn here on the highway." Theodor pointed at the road going up. "My dad is gonna be so pisst when he sees I'm missing." I said laughing yet nervous as hell. "Don't worry we'll move quickly. We'll drive from Georgia and then?.." Jack looked at Theodor. "Then we'll take a plane to Florida." Theodor ended his sentence. "Nice, we can pass by Miami and check out the Florida babes." Jack grinned. I rolled my eyes. "I would enjoy going to a beach though, I've never been to one." I said looking out the window. "me either, i'm used to the cold." Theodor said. "Great now we can spend this time together!" Jack smiled.
I looked at the time, it said 4:12am on my phone. We've been driving for hours. Theodor was knocked out already, he was snoring and everything. "Jack are we gonna stop?" I asked him since he was wide awake. "In this next exit. We'll find a motel and spend the night there." He said. I closed my eyes and waited til we arrived.
"Carlie, Carls." Someone tapped my shoulder. "huh?" I rubbed my eyes. "We're here. I got us a room." He pointed at the motel. It's paint was chipping and the sign that said '8 motel' was flashing on and off. But something is something. I got out and leaned against the car that was parked next to ours. Jack opened the passenger door and Theodor fell out to the side. "Sorry," Jack laughed. "I was asleep ya know." Theodor got out of the car grumpy. "Sorry your highness." Jack bowed jokingly.
'104' Jack stopped in front of the door with those numbers on it. He pulled out the key and put it in the key hole. We brought all the bags inside and slumped on the couch. "I call bed." There was only one bedroom. "I call couch." Theodor grinned. Jack sighed. "Floor it is then." He stood up and went to the bedroom. The motel actually looked more decent than we thought. Everything looked nice and clean and smelled good. There was even a flat screen in the living room.
I stood up and went to the bedroom. I saw Jack putting blankets on the floor next to the bed. I climbed over the bed and watched him. "Sucks for you!" I made a farting noise with my tongue. "Ha, ha very funny." He said sarcastic. "Well goodnight guys we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." I heard Theodor say from the living room. I got under the covers and snuggled into the pillow.. A couple minutes later I could hear Jack tossing and turning on the floor. He's been like this since we went to sleep. I sat up on the bed to see what he was doing. He rolled over to one side, then he would pat the pillow and roll over to the other side. I laid back down when I heard he settled a bit. Then he started moving again, ugh. "Jack," I said his name. "yeah?" He answered in a disappointed voice. "Get on the bed." I said looking up at the ceiling. "You sure?" His head popped up through the side of the bed. "I think we both need to get some sleep." I replied. I rolled over to my side and felt the left side of the bed get heavy. "Thanks." I heard his deep voice. "don't mention it."
