Rylee's POV

We arrived at Jeddah earlier today. Last time we were here, it was a one big messy race. Hopefully it wouldn't be like that this time.

I was waiting for Olivia in the media center. We would go over the planning for this weekend but she was late. I grabbed my phone, Lando has texted me a few times last night so I decided to text him back quickly. I looked up as I saw Olivia sitting in front of me. "I am sorry I am late, I was being held up" she said while grabbing her laptop. She looked happy, she had a kind of glow over her. Was Charles the reason she was late?
"Don't worry about it. I wasn't waiting for that long" I smiled at her. She put her laptop in front of me. "So you have the usual post qualifying and race interviews, but you also have some interviews with Mclaren and Ferrari, try to make them as comfortable as possible" Great, I would be face to face with Lando and Charles. The two drivers I actually wanted to talk to but not about their cars. I just nodded and smiled at her.
"Do you maybe want to grab lunch together today? So we could get to know each other better?" I asked and I saw her face lit up.
"I would really like that" she actually seemed like a nice girl but obviously I wanted to know if she liked Charles the way he liked her.

The first interview was with the Mclaren boys. It actually went really well. They were always silly and easy to talk to. I was grabbing my things when Lando stood next to me. "Hey I really enjoyed this interview" He looked at me smiling, I grabbed my laptop quickly because I needed to go to Olivia. "Thanks, me too. You were great!" I put my hand on his arm, assuring him that he did a good job. "So I was wondering if you already had plans for tonight?" He put his hands in his pocket, looking at me. I could see he was kind of nervous. "No I don't" It wasn't a lie, I didn't have plans except for chilling with Max but it would be nice to actually go out for once instead of hiding. "Great! I was wondering if maybe you would go to dinner with me? Carlos and Isa are coming too." I nodded. I was already looking forward to it.

I was walking fast through the paddock. Olivia was probably already waiting for me. I sat down next to her, she looked happy to see me. "I am sorry I am late" she put her phone down smiling. "Don't worry about it, how was the interview?"
"Great, they're always silly. So the next one is with Charles and Carlos. Do you know them well?" She looked down at the table and I could swear she was getting red. "I know Charles. He's really nice actually" I nodded smiling. He was really nice and so was his girlfriend.
"Yes he is, did you meet his girlfriend yet?" She looked up at me and started shaking her head.
I couldn't figure out if she already knew he had a girlfriend or not.
I guess she didn't trust me enough yet to tell me about her and Charles.

The interview with Charles and Carlos went great. They were actually a funny pairing even though Charles didn't really looked like he was paying much attention. His thoughts were probably somewhere else.
"See you tonight Rylee" Carlos waved at me.
Right I still had to tell Max I was going out with Lando. He wouldn't understand and to be honest I am confused as why I said yes to this. I guess I really wanted to go out for once, and Lando was good company.
