Max went to Milton Keynes for a couple of days, he needed to go to the factory. I was hoping he would have some time off during the summerbreak but I guess it wouldn't be the case.

I stayed in Monaco. It felt different without him, certainly a lot lonelier.
I was laying on the couch, going through Netflix.
I was planning to have a lazy day, watching Netflix and eating snacks. A knock on the door made me look up. Fuck, I was in Max's apartment so it probably was someone who wanted to see Max, not me.

I got up, opening the door. I was face to face with his ex girlfriend Kelly. "Hi, is Max home?" She actually looked really sweet but I was definitely intimidated by her. "No, he isn't" I started shaking my head. "Where is he?" She turned her head a little to the side, she probably was making sure he wasn't home. "Milton Keynes" She sighed. I wanted to ask her why she wanted to see him, but I was too scared for her answer.  "Thanks I'll come back later then" she turned around, wanting to walk away. I don't know what got over me but I told her to stop. "Do you want to come in?" She turned back around, she clearly looked confused and to be honest I was confused as well.
She shrugged her shoulders, walking in. "Sure thanks"

She walked around his apartment like it was her home. Which to be fair, isn't that weird, they dated for a long time.
She started to look around, she stopped in front of the pictures of Max and I. They probably replaced the pictures he had with her.
"So have you tried calling him?" I broke the silence. She looked at me and nodded. "He didn't pick up but I guess he was busy" she sat down with me on the couch. She clearly wasn't going to tell me why she needed him so I just changed the subject. We talked about a lot of things. She was actually quite nice but I still wondered why she needed Max so badly.

"So I bought two tests because we need to be sure" Charlotte put them on the kitchen counter.
I looked at them, I couldn't believe I was about to do this. "It will all be fine, no matter what the result is" I guess Charlotte noticed how nervous I was. I nodded and grabbed the tests. "I will be back soon" I walked to the bathroom. I was praying they would be negative. I wasn't ready for it and Max certainly wasn't either.

"So how long do we have to wait now?" I put the tests down while looking at Charlotte.
"A couple of minutes" she said and I looked at her, holding back my smile. "What? I've had a couple of scares already" she shrugged her shoulders laughing.

We talked for a couple of minutes. I pushed the tests to her. "I can't do this, please can you look for me?" She nodded while she took the tests and looked at it quickly. She put them down and looked up at me, not saying a word.
"What? What does it say?"
