Max's POV

After winning my home Grand Prix, it was time for Monza. Hopefully it would go better than last year.
I haven't heard from Rylee since the dinner with my dad.
I had a huge fight with my dad, he told me Rylee used me for fame and money but that was so far away from the truth. I didn't know why she lied about being on birth control but I knew it wasn't because she wanted to get pregnant. It was a surprise for her as well, I knew that for sure.

Olivia walked up to me, I had an interview with F1tv and I was expecting to see Rylee. "Hi Max, are you ready for the interview?" She asked and sat down with me. I nodded. I was still confused about why Rylee wasn't here.
She was actually very nice during the interview but I couldn't wait for it to be over.
"Is Rylee sick?" I asked her after the interview was done. "No, she quit" I looked at her confused.
She did what? "Since when?" She got up and started to grab her stuff. "After the last race"
She didn't seem too bothered about it. I couldn't understand why she wouldn't tell me or why she was ignoring my calls.

There was only one person who would know where she was. I know Charlotte was here to support Charles so I had to find her.
I was walking to the Ferrari garage, I saw Charlotte sitting with Isa and I walked up to them.
They both looked up to me, they clearly didn't want to talk to me but I didn't care. "I am sorry to bother you but do you guys know where Rylee is?" Charlotte crossed her arms. I knew she was hesitant to tell me, but she always liked us together so I knew she would be honest. "She went back home" Okay so I had to talk to her parents to know for sure that she was there. "Thanks"
I nodded and wanted to walk away but Charlotte stopped me. "What happened Max?" She didn't look mad, she actually looked concerned. "I don't know. We had a dinner with my dad and he said some stupid stuff but I didn't think she would leave because of some shit he said"
After my sister and her went to the bathroom I told him I loved her but he just didn't want to listen so I just left. Which was maybe not the best idea but I had to leave or I would've done some stupid shit.
"I don't think she cares about what he said, it's about what you said Max" I looked at her confused. I was replaying the evening in my head but I couldn't remember what I said. Did I say something to hurt her?
"What did I say?" She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know but she's pregnant and it's your baby, so take some responsibility and man up" she was right, I had to take my responsibility and I really wanted this, I wanted to enjoy this with her but I can't just quit racing, can I?
