I was standing next to Max in his garage, he was zipping his racing suit all the way up and I handed him his helmet. He quickly took it and put one arm around my waist, he kissed me right there and then.
Every camera was probably focussed on us but we didn't care.
"Get that pole position babe" I mumbled on his lips and he smiled. "I will for you" he quickly put his hand on my belly "And for him or her"
he whispered softly.
I actually already knew what gender our baby was, but I wanted to throw a little gender reveal party with our friends and Mexico was the perfect place.
This time last year at this exact place Max and I got back together so it only had good memories.

GP walked up to me and handed me some headphones so I could hear Max. "Welcome back in our family" he smiled and winked at me before getting back to the pitwall.
I walked up to Luisa, Lando's girlfriend, she smiled as she saw me. "I am glad you're back" she hugged me. My heart was so happy right now.
I really felt like I belonged in this team, they really treated me as one of their own. They always did.

I was biting my lip. It was something I did a lot lately, I guess it meant I was nervous. Max got into Q3 but he was only on P4. I could hear the frustration in his voice.
"Calm down Max, you got this. Warm your tires, you've one more chance" GP tried to motivate him. We all knew he could do it.

His last lap was amazing. He drove like a lion right now. We all cheered when he got on pole. "YES c'mon that's what I am talking about" I heard him laughing on the radio. I was so happy, he still had to win the race though but I knew he could do it as well. He only had to win 2 out of 3 races and he would be champion again.

For the first time, I could actually stand with his team when he got out of the car. He got out of his car and ran up to us. He hugged his team and I noticed how he was looking for me, a few engineers pointed in my way and he walked to me. I could see him smiling in his helmet, his eyes said enough.
I hugged him and this time, I was the one who could kiss his helmet.

Max had to do his interviews so I actually had time to look for my best friend. Charlotte was standing in front of the Ferrari hospitality, she was probably waiting for Charles. I walked up to her and I hugged her immediately. She hugged me back and looked at me. "If you ever run off again I'll kill you"
We both laughed. I loved her so much, she's been there since day one. "Do you want to organize a very last minute gender reveal party with me?" Her eyes widened and she nodded. "Oh my God you know the gender? Yes of course! When do you want to throw it?" I was happy she was so excited about it but we actually needed to organize everything very quickly. "Monday" she looked at me and nodded. "Okay that last minute for sure" she laughed but I knew we could do this.

I was so excited for everyone to know the gender of our baby, but most importantly I was excited to tell Max. I was hoping he would be happy about it.
