The summerbreak was over and we were in Belgium. The first of Max's two home Grand Prix's. Everyone loved the track, it was one with many challenges.
Max and I had a entire different challenge on our hands. We would tell Toto and his dad about us, about our situation. For the first time, we walked in the paddock holding hands. We were done hiding and lying, even though I still had a big lie that Max didn't know about. No one knew, except for Olivia but I was sure she wouldn't tell him.
"Are you ready for this?" Max looked at me while we passed a lot of confused faces. "Yes, I am. Are you?" I smiled at him. We were walking to the Mercedes hospitality. I knew Toto would be there because I texted him to meet me. "I am ready to meet the leader of the Wolffs" he laughed but I knew he was nervous about it. Probably not as nervous as me though.
We walked in the Mercedes hospitality, I noticed how Max wanted to let go of my hand but I grabbed his hand again. I needed it. We walked to Toto, who was sitting at a table. "Hi Toto, how are you?" I sat down in front of him, Max sat down next to me. "I am fine how are you guys?" He looked at the both of us. "We are good thanks" Max said while nodding. "So you guys are finally gonna tell me you're dating" he looked at us smiling. "Yes we are dating and we really love each other" I said. I grabbed Max's hand and intertwined our fingers. My heart started beating in my chest. He seemed pretty fine about us dating but now I had to tell him I was pregnant. "I am pregnant" I just blurted out. His eyes widened and I saw his face getting tense. "So you already got her pregnant? Good job man" He looked straight in Max's eyes. I was praying that Max would hold it together. "It's not like I planned it" I squeezed Max's hand a little. A sign that he had to stop talking. "I am really disappointed in you Rylee, I am hoping you'll fix it" He got up while shaking his head and walked away. Well.. that didn't go great.

After a dramatic meeting with Toto, Max decided to focus on qualifying. He had a couple of places grid penalty but he still wanted to end on pole to beat Charles.
Lando replaced Checo and was now part of the Red Bull team. I was happy for him. I knew he wanted to be in a more competitive team, but I knew he wouldn't be able to beat Max.
"How was your summer break?" Olivia walked in the media center. She didn't really smile at me, she seemed kind of mad. "It was fun, how was yours?" She grabbed her laptop while she sat down and shrugged her shoulders. "It was okay" I felt bad for her. Charles dumped her for Charlotte and so did I. I spend most of my time with Charlotte and Max. I sat down in front of her. "I am pregnant" She quickly looked up, I couldn't really figure out what she was thinking right now. "Is Max the dad?" I nodded, confirming what she was thinking. "So it actually worked. You really tricked him" she started shaking her head. She was the only one who knew that I lied about being on birth control, so I should've expected her reaction. I didn't really know how to answer. "Does he know what you did?" She closed her laptop and crossed her arms. "No" I mumbled. "Then you should tell him now, or I will" she got up again and walked away.
In that moment, I realized that she wasn't my friend. She was actually Max's friend and could ruin our relationship.
