"Charles is out of the race. He had to retire" GP sounded on my radio and I sighed. I should be happy he had to retire his car because he was my biggest competitor but I wasn't. I liked the fight I had with Charles this year. "Just bring the car home Max" one little sentence to tell me I had enough pace and that I would win this race if I didn't crash.
I saw the chequered flag as I crossed the finish line. "And that's P1 Max, what a mega drive" I was actually happy I won another race again. Everything started to fall in its place again. "What a lovely Sunday mate!" I started to drive to the P1 slot to park my car. "That's Hamilton on P2 and Russel P3" I didn't even realize both Merc cars were behind me. I guess they found their pace again.
As usual I had the post race interviews and after that I had to go to the media pen. To see my girl. She looked so cute as always. Olivia was standing next to her so I wanted to keep it professional with Rylee. I wouldn't kiss her anymore in front of Olivia, because I knew it would hurt her. "I'll pick you up later tonight" I just whispered to Rylee and she nodded.

Later that night we arrived at the restaurant. It was a little typical French place. I loved it. Daniel and his girlfriend were already sitting at the table as we sat down with them. "Finally mate you took your time" Daniel laughed handing me the menu. "Yeah you may not remember but you have to do a lot of interviews when you win" I casually said as I looked through the menu. I knew he must be rolling his eyes right now. "I already regret inviting you" He said, his girlfriend gave him a nudge while she was shaking her head. She probably didn't want to start a fight.
The rest of the dinner went well. We all laughed and made jokes with each other. I loved Rylee's laugh. I put my hand on her thigh. She was wearing a black dress, she looked amazing in it. I kissed her cheek softly, whispering in her ear. "You look amazing, I can't believe you are my girlfriend" her cheeks turned red. I loved how I got that power over her. I moved my hand a little higher so it slipped under her dress. "Oh my God Max stop it" she whispered, crossing her legs quickly. I laughed softly. I loved teasing her, I always used to tease her when she was my PR manager.

"I am so happy it's the last race before summer break. I really need a break" Daniel and I were walking to my plane. We decided to go together to Hungary. Our last race before the break. We invited Lando as well. I knew everything was weird between us but it shouldn't be. He was happy with his new girl and I was happy with Rylee. I liked him a lot so hopefully we could go back to being friends.
Rylee didn't come with us. She decided to stay in Austria for a little bit longer, she wanted to be with her family which I totally understood. She must miss her parents so much.
