After the news of Wes's death broke, Amber was called to the Meeks-Martin house once again.

However, the group was now smaller.
She sat in the living room with Mindy and Chad.
Discussing the death of their...friend.

Chad had his head buried in hands.
Mindy was chewing her fingernails; deep in thought.
Amber just stared at the ground; unsure of what to say.

"I can't believe he's gone. You said the killer didn't care about him," Chad snapped at Mindy.

Mindy shrugged, "I know. It...must've been a diversion to get to Tara..."

Chad groaned, "Well we are all fucked then. If Wes with his damn pepper spray and taser can't stop the killer, the fuck are we going to do?"

"We should just all stay together. Strength in numbers right," Amber offered.

Mindy nodded, "I agree."

"Where's Liv," Amber asked.

"She's at work," Chad quickly replied.

Amber quirked her eyebrow.
Trying to throw some suspicion at the absent girl.

"And where was she when we visited Tara in the hospital," Amber prompted.

Chad narrowed his eyes at her, "She's not the killer."

Amber shrugged.

Mindy rolled her eyes, "She's too boring to be the killer. Where were you when the attack at the hospital happened?"

Mindy was directing that at Amber.

Amber scoffed, "I was at home. Where were you?"

"The Hicks crime scene," Mindy stated.

Chad shook his head, "Stop this shit. Wes is dead. You two don't seem to care. I know you didn't like him, Amber, but still."

Amber sighed, "I'm not happy he was murdered okay? But what are we supposed to do about it now?"

"I don't know! We should have a memorial or something," Chad suggested.

Amber needed a reason to have a "party".
She needed all of them together for the third act.

But she had to be careful.
Not show her hand to them, especially Mindy.

"During a killing spree," Amber rolled her eyes.

"We would all be together," Chad reminded her.

"Maybe that's not a bad idea. I'm sure Tara would appreciate it," Mindy offered.

"Fine. Where," Amber asked.

Chad laughed, "You're house duh."

Mindy asked, "Where are your parents?"

"Business trip."
