Tara weakly opened her eyes.

She had hoped that she was waking up from a nightmare.
A nightmare where her girlfriend was trying to kill her sister.

But her head was throbbing.
So she knew it was real.

Amber was behind all of it.
Amber had brutally attacked her. Twice.
Amber had murdered Dewey.
Maybe Wes.
Amber had shot Liv in the fucking head.

She slowly lifted herself up off the floor and took in her surroundings.

She saw Mindy slumped against the entertainment center.
Dead?
Unconscious?

She could smell something burning.

She strained her neck to peer into the kitchen.
Sidney and Gale were hobbling towards the front hallway.

Did that mean it was over?

What did over mean?
Was Amber dead...

Tara didn't know how to feel, but she needed to find Sam.

She slowly lifted herself up from between the couch and coffee table.

As she wobbled behind the couch, she came upon Liv's lifeless body.

She wanted to puke at the sight of her friend.

Tara noticed a gun on the ground, which she quickly scooped up.

She didn't know if she would have to use it.
If she could.
But if Sam was still in danger, she would need it.

Tara rounded the doorway to the back hallway.
She sighed in relief as she saw Sam standing with Sidney and Gale.

Sam was okay.

Suddenly, a scream erupted from the kitchen.

A scream Tara knew to be only one person.
Her person.

A charred and crisp Amber stomped into the hallway behind Sam, Sidney, and Gale.

She held a knife above her head.

Tara felt the weight of the gun in her hand.

Amber wasn't going to stop until Sam was dead.
She had made that very clear when Tara was begging her to stop.
Claiming Sam was the bad guy.
When Amber had literally been killing people...
Physically hurting Tara...

Tara didn't know if it was Amber anymore.
Or if she had really ever known Amber.
But Sam had come back for her.
Protected her.

And Tara would do the same.
So Tara did what must be done.

She aimed the gun towards Amber's head and pulled the trigger.

Amber's body flopped onto the floor.

A stunned Sam, Sidney, and Gale turned towards Tara.

"You were a shitty girlfriend," Tara sneered as she lowered the gun.

She met Sam half way down the hallway.
The two sisters embraced each other tightly.
