LET ME SAY THIS FIRST.
Almost every writer/author is guilty of doing this.
Especially me.
But as usual, there's always a limit to the slack I cut.
If you doubt yourself to the point of getting pity from your readers, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WRITING THEN?
It's one thing if you're like,
"Hey guys, I'm not really feeling this update, and I know it's not my best work."
Or even,
"This update's kind of shit, but I hope you like it!"
But if you're constantly doing this,
"I really hate this chapter. I wasn't even gonna post it. You must hate it, right? It's absolute shit! BUT WHATEVER GIVE ME LOTS OF VOTES!!!!! Or I won't upload again for a while!"
...
Do you see my point?
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A WEE BIT OF FAITH IN YOUR WRITING HOW THE HELL WILL ANYONE ELSE?
WE ALL DOUBT OURSELVES SOMETIMES,( I really mean a lot) BUT GOD DAMMIT CUT YOUR CRAP.
I'm voting for your story because I like it, not because I fucking pity your "inability" to form a non-"shit" chapter.
There's a difference between modesty and straight bullshit.
We should all learn it, now shouldn't we?
