What exactly is a "comment blocker?"
I'm glad you asked.
In my book of definitions, a comment blocker;(n. /COM•menT Blaw•ker/)
Is someone who repeatedly complains about a specific person commenting too much on a given chapter and/or chapters.
Now, let me explain why they're a major pain in the ass, in my perspective anyway.
1)I myself, am a, as I like to call it, "comment enthusiast". Meaning that I comment a fucking bunch as I'm reading here on Wattpad. Yeah it makes me take longer to read the chapters, but it's worth it.
I love the feeling of being able to interact with you guys well, because I love y'all, and I love talking to you.
I learn new things, laugh, get to curse a couple people out, and well basically, it's real fun.
2)WHAT THE HELL EVER HAPPENED TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH? HUH?
I CAN CLEARLY SEE A COMMENT SECTION, SO GODDAMMIT I'M ENTITLED TO USE IT.
Geez. If you don't wanna see my comments, (which are always funny by the way, so you're clearly a killjoy), BLOCK ME OR SOMETHING. REPORT THEM. I DON'T GIVE TWO SHITS.
3) In a way, I kind of feel like I'm supporting the author.
Like yes, your book is so interesting and good, you're getting me excited to comment.
And yes. I want to blow up your notifications just for the fun of it.
SPPAAAAAAMMMM.
So yeah. Anyway. To all you comment blockers out there, it's okay if some comments of people's annoy you. It happens to the best of us.
Just please don't be an asshole about it. Thanks.
