The Inevitable Party Scene

Okay so not every party has some couple literally sucking each other's tonsils out in a dimly-lit corner.

Not every party has that bowl of punch that looks pretty sketchy.

Not every party has a blunt being passed around every other hour.

Believeeeee it or not, not all parties have an impromptu fight breaking out or police crashing the party because somebody's lame ass neighbor snitched.

I mean some do, that's true. (Loooool that rhymed)

But not every teenager gets wasted at their first high school party.

In all honesty I've never been to a party where any shit like this has happened. Maybe the kissing thing.

Not that I get invited to parties often ;-; (my friends and I are homebodies)

But when I do every couple of months, the most "inappropriate" thing I see is people dancing on each other (and that's to be expected because all my friends are Caribbean)

I mean I'm only 15 (turning 16 on Feb 14. ayeeeeee) and I haven't been to parties where you literally catch an STD as soon as you pass through the door - not yet. But I just feel like it's a strange teenage stereotype.

I will literally dance in a corner with my friends, sit in a corner with my phone, inhale everything on the snack table, dance some more and go home.

I would honestly be hype if someone whipped out a board or card game.

I don't know if my opinion is biased because I'm such a stay-at-home person most of the time, or if there are other people like me.

Maybe I'm just inexperienced...

Okay I'm really inexperienced.

But don't get me wrong, shit always goes down in the party scene. Somebody gets cheated on, somebody makes out with someone they know they ain't supposed to be making out with, and someone always gets punched or slapped in the face. And maybe the cops get called, some girl might even get pregnant.

And like I said, these things do happen, but I feel like it sets an unrealistic standard for people who've never been to a party before.

But I guess it all depends on what kinda parties you get invited to, and who invites you.

What about you? Have you seen anything and everything there is to see at a party?

You ever been to a party? If not, what do you think it'll be like?

So I decided to update because I still get lovely comments from new people who stumbled across this mess of a rant book.

And all the new love inspired me to really think about something to talk about, AKA I pulled something out of my ass

Update on my life:

I'm now a sophomore in high school. When I first started WPP I was still in middle school, oh how time flies * i cri *

I still have a temper, I still have a foul mouth. Those two things won't probably ever change.

And like I said *somewhere* I'm turning 16 in a couple months *yikes*

Other than that I'm still the same, just with less time to read, and write, and watch anime * i cri again *
