Ch. 43: the civilian councils plan

Naruto and Ino is in the park, cuddling. As Ino is sitting in Narutos lap, the people who saw the couple exchanging romantic words to each other blush and giggle at their sweetness.

Ino(giggle): you sure are romantic, lover boy. I hope its not just in words, though.

Naruto: you want me to show you what i can do, my pretty lily?

Ino(smirk): do it if you dare, my handsome dragon.

Just as Naruto lean forward to kiss Ino, an Anbu appeared with a message making the lovers stop and frown.

Anbu: Kaido Naruto-san, the Council require your presence.

Naruto(confuse): the Council? Now what is it that those old foggies wants?

Anbu: i dont know, i was only sent to inform you. Now that i have completed my job, i will return now.

The Anbu shunshin away leaving the couple thats still cuddling.

Naruto(sigh): i should go, Ino-chan. I really dont like going there and leaving you behind here. Oh, i know! Why dont you come with me too? Please?

Ino: Naaaaa, dont want too. Shikamaru once said that, hes father told him that attending the Council Meetings are too Troublesome.

"Especially those Civilian Council members and the Hokage advisors who thinks that they are above the Hokage and can command him and the shonobis. Thick Faces."

Naruto(laughing so hard): typical Nara's. Well, i should go now. Ill see you later, my love.

Naruto and Ino kiss before he shunshin away. In the Hokages office, Minato was also told about the Meeting organize by the Councilors.

He summon an Anbu and order him to go get Kushina and Tsunade as they are also representives for the Uzumaki and Senju Clan respectively.

Minato also inform Jiraiya to be there as a witness as he felt that the meeting isnt something simple, Jiraiya agreed.

<Meeting Room>

The Hokage, Clan leaders, Advisors, the Civilian Councilors and Jiraiya are there. Naruto open the door and stand of them.

Naruto: greetings, Hokage-sama and the Council members. May i know why i am summon?

Then Minato ask.

Minato: alright, tell me who is it that ask for this meeting and for what purpose?

Koharu, an elder and 1 of the 3 Hokage advisors raise her hand and speak.

Koharu: it was us, Hokage-sama. Since Kaido Naruto has been disowned on his 8th birthday (Minato and Kushina frown) we want to put him under CRA.

Homura(another advisor): you can also become a Clan Leader of the Kaido Clan and can have multiple wives, its Legal.

Minato, Kushina,Hiruzen and the 2 Sannin really hate this old antiques. They are always saying and doing what they want, like they are the kage of Konoha.

Minato look at Kushina who is shaking and ready to jump and tear the old goats down for wanting to turn her sochi into a baby machine factory, when Naruto spoke.

Naruto: thats a tempting offer, whats the catch?

This time it was Monkey Whoruno, sorry i mean, Mebuki Haruno who speak up.

Mebuki: the catch is that, we will be the one who will choose who you will be paired with. Aside from Miss Yamanaka Ino, i want my daughter and your teammate, Sakura, as one of your wife.

Without a second thought, Naruto answered in a flash surprising them.

Naruto: Rejected, Denied, Overruled, Disallow, Veto, Override! Sakura is a devoted and number 1 fangirl of Uchiha Sasuke, so its impossible.

"Secondly, she doesnt take her shinobi carrer seriously and always ran after the last Uchiha like a loyal dog.

"She have those diet things which is ridiculous as she is a ninja and dieting will only not give her the energy needed when on a mission. It will also hinder her growth and she wont be able to function as a proper shinobi. All in all, I. HATE. FANGIRL!"

"Anyway, why are you the one suggesting this CRA thing? You are not the Hokage, only an advisors and Civilian Councilors. I am a shinobi and and i fall under the authority of the Hokage and the Shinobi Council.

"The Civilian Councils job is to ensure that the economy of Konoha is booming and the lives of the civilians is treated fairly. It is not your job to interfere in the shinobi matters, i hope you understand where you stand."

The Hokage, Clan Heads and Jiraiya smile and proud of this kid. He has the making to be a Hokage, clever, knows what he is doing and can fight the political battle against these Civilian Council apes.

As for the Civilians sides and the advisors, they are gritting their teeth and wish that if they have the power to kill, they wouldve done so to get rid of this Kaido brat.
