Can't We Just Get Along?

AN: It'd be real interesting if their fights end up reaching this point. Well here's my interpretation of what happens if Goh and Gary's bickering gets out of hand.

Vermillion City Pokemon Center, Kanto Region

The automatic doors of the Pokemon center opens with a quiet swish, as a group of 4 boys entered the lobby. Ash and Goh in front, and two of Goh's fellow Project Mew members Gary and Horace in the back. The latter 3 have just returned from another failed Trial Mission on the account that neither Goh or Gary could put aside their bickering and work together, and poor Horace could do nothing about it. In an attempt to lift everyone's mood, Ash offers to buy everyone lunch on the condition that Goh and Gary promise not to bicker with each other. Surprisingly, their stomachs must have beaten their ego as neither of them made so much a peep on the way to the Pokemon Center. Horace glanced at the two and whispered to Ash,

"You really think this is a good idea? I mean both of them can't even tolerate each other to complete a vital mission, and you think they'd be civil enough to have lunch together?"

Ash nonchalantly replied, "Honestly I only came up with the free lunch thing to get them to quiet down for 10 seconds. Don't worry, I ain't counting on them to keep their traps shut, but hey that means I only got to pay for two people. Right Pikachu?"

Ash's faithful partner casted a glance back at the two people NOT in question, nervously rubbing the back of his head. "Pika..."

The posse stopped at the front desk where they are warmly greeted by the local Nurse Joy.

"Ah! Good to see you, Ash and Goh!" Nurse Joy was quite familiar with the two given the fact they frequent this Pokemon Center. "What a pleasure to see some familiar faces! And I notice you brought friends!"

"Yeah. Friends." Goh muttered in a not so friendly tone.

Ash shot a look at his research partner and replied to Nurse Joy "Yeah, this are my pals Gary and Horace. Say hi boys!"

"Yo!"

"Hello!"

Nurse Joy politely waved back and turned her attention back to Ash, "So how can I help you boys on this fine day?"

"We're just here to grab some grub. We had a little setback on our adventure, so I figured some lunch will brighten our moods." Ash explained.

Nurse Joy nodded in an understanding manner. "I see. Well I'm sorry for that. The cafeteria's open, make yourself comfortable!"

"Thanks Nurse!" Ash waved Joy goodbye and signaled the group into the cafeteria, which fortunately wasn't so busy this time of day. They quickly found a table and sat down. Ash trusted Horace and Pikachu with guard duty and went to the counter to order.

"Okay, so what do you guys want?" Ash asked.

"I'll have a spicy curry plate." Gary said.

"Mhm. And you Horace?"

"I'll take the Cobb salad." Horace answered.

"Okay," Ash repeated out loud. "A spicy curry for Gary, a Cobb salad for Horace, and Goh I know what you like. Alright, be back soon guys." Ash proceeded to join the line to the register.

A couple minutes later, Ash arrived at the register and began to order. Though before a single word can come out of his mouth, a rather familiar individual caught him by surprise.

"C-Chloe?!"

Right in front of him, stood Ms. Cerise, who clearly looks like she'd be anywhere else.

"What are you doing here?" Ash asked dumbfounded.
