AN: At least how I imagine their relationship. This is just something I wrote for fun, so don't expect seriousness (or good writing lol).

It is a beautiful morning in the region of Paldea. The lush, green grass speckled with dewdrops after a late night rain, Pokemon of all types going about their day, and warm morning sunlight completed unobstructed by clouds. On the field below, a group of friends are out and about on their morning routine. Except that two of them seem to be having a rather... heated debate.
"YOU F&#%ING DONKEY!!!" screamed Arven, the resident cook, with enough fire in his tone to cook an entire meal. "Do you not know how to identify mushrooms or did you doze off in biology class? Half of these are poisonous!"
"Oh I'm sorry, Dr. Arven!" Nemona snapped back, putting mocking emphasis on the title. "If you're so good at identifying fungus, why don't ya get them yourself? Not to mention you specifically asked ME, to go look for something."
"Because someone's gotta keep watch on the fire! But if you're fine with having raw eggs for breakfast, I'll be more than happy to oblige!" the blonde cook retorted.
Nemona humphed, "Well why don't you give that task to me then? Last time I checked starting a cooking fire doesn't need a culinary degree."
"Oh it doesn't." Arven retorts, "But a battle-addled minded knucklehead like you will burn the forest down because you got distracted pestering Juliana to another battle!"
Not the one to take insults lying down, Nemona snarls back. "Oh can it, pendejo, or I'll shove my boot so far up your ass that you'll taste my shoe polish!"
Watching from the sideline were Penny and little Juliana. The former is barely paying attention to the tirade, having clearly grown use to this sort out discourse while the latter looks on with child-like concern, anticipating a physical fight coming up.
Deciding to avoid disaster, Juliana speaks up. "Arven? Nemona? We still don't have anything to eat, so can we wrap this up and get back to cooking?"
Both upperclassmen turn to the brunette, their glares softening.
Arven was the first to speak up. "Alright, yeah. I suppose I should get started before its too late. Uh, Juliana, can you go with Nemona to try and find ingredients?"
"Well you heard him, amigo." Nemona walks into the forest clearing, waving to Juliana to follow along. "Let's see if we can find anything cool."
1 Hour Later...
Despite the initial issues, breakfast went rather smoothly. The breakfast subs made for a wonderful main course to start the day, and the tart Arven whipped up with the berries the two girls brought back were a wonderfully sweet finish to help balance out the rich and savory sandwiches.
Satisfied, Juliana packs up her bags, preparing for the next leg of their trip. she turns to her friends asking, "So we ready to move on?"
"No, not yet. I gotta help Arven do the dishes and clean the site up." Nemona replied as she gathers up the dirty plates and utensils.
"Really? I'm sure he can take care of that himself."
Nemona glanced at the boy in question, who is walking over to a nearby pond. "Oh please, if we leave it up to him we'll be here until lunch time. Besides, big sis always made sure I helped with chores. Don't worry, with my help we'll be done in a jiffy." With that, she made way to the pond to join Arven.
"Weird, isn't it?" Penny suddenly materialized next to Juliana, making her jump. "They bicker like an old married couple yet always volunteer to help each other without even being asked. Remember that time Nemona got a cold?"
