'So does Risa,' reminds Shu. 'We'll have to wait for later. He will cry a lot and even taking something for the test could make him cry.' I wonder if he'll be human or not. When could he get his fangs? No, he had a heartbeat. I think he's human. 

Laito chortled. 'He has my pinky.' 

'He is smaller than Teddy.' Kanato can't wrap his head around it that he could be responsible for the little bundle in his brother's arm. 

Shu shakes his head. 'He will outgrow your bear within six months.' 

'I want you to stay in bed for at least three days. Only get up for the bathroom or the baby, but don't stay on your feet for too long.' 

'You didn't hear that but your mother needs to stay in bed for three days,' smiles Laito. 

'I forgot his name, sorry.' 

'It's Shu. You can come back.' Reiji calls for him. 

Ayato pets the baby. 'Be good to your mother.' 

Shu goes back inside. 'Ready? I'll take you back to your bedroom.' He gives the baby to her. 

'Not yet, now comes the baby. I have to measure and weigh him. Then I will give him a diaper and dress him.' Ema takes the baby over. 'And I'm sure she wants to be in the room when that happens.' 

'Yes,' reacts Risa from the bed. 

'How are you feeling?' Shu takes the seat next to the bed. 

She nods. 'Surprisingly better but still tired.' She keeps her eyes on Ema.  

'You can go to bed after you fed the baby.' Ema notes the length of the baby. 

Reiji sees the fifty-seven centimeters written down. 

Ema weights the baby equally fast. 'Alright, that's everything.' She turns to give the baby back to Risa. 'All dressed and everything...' 

'You can take her to her bedroom.' Reiji interrupts the woman with his eyes on Risa with the baby. 'We'll finish up cleaning and then I'll take her to your room.' 

Risa lays the baby on her chest and holds him with her arms. 

'Bedtime for you two.' Shu lifts them both. 'Open the door.' 

The door opens and both Ayato and Laito are in the opening. 

'Move your lame ass.' Subaru ignores the urge to kick them away. After Shu is in the hall, he closes the door. 'The door is closed. You're safe.' 

Shu waited for it and teleports to Risa's bedroom. 

'Mama-chan looked cute with the baby.' Laito knows he has to be patient. I will check up on you, my sweet boy. 

'It still looks like you're pregnant.' Shu noticed the crib and pulls it closer to her bed. 

'Like I'm six months. Ema mentioned it.' She looks from the baby and to her belly. 'But when I can get out of bed and exercise again that will disappear.' She catches the baby moving his mouth. 'I think he's getting hungry, Shu.' 

'Of course.' He bends over to stroke the baby and gives him a kiss. 'Welcome in the family.' He straights his back. 'I'll be outside and let only Ema in.' 

'Thank you.' She waits for Shu to be outside. 'Now, let's see if you wanna eat.' She pulls her shirt down and her bra. It takes a minute before she feels it. That's it, sweety. Take all the time you need. 

'Why are you in front of the door?' Ayato was hoping to see the baby. 

'What do you think, dumbass? Come back later... Although I have no idea how long it will take.' Shu shakes his head. 'The baby was hungry.'
