I'm surrounded. No, this is beyond me. I have to call Subaru! She closes her eyes for a moment to try to keep her calm for Daiki. 'I'm sorry, sweety.' She kisses his little head and covers his ears. 'Subaru!' I saw you. Please, be in the garden and hear me.

'You're screaming for nothing. No one is in the garden but us,' speaks the first one.

'Oi, don't scream, he could start crying.' The tallest of them all talks with his finger pointing to the baby. 'And you hurt my ears.'

You think I don't know that! Our safety over his cries. 'Subaru! Anyone!'

Subaru checks it out first and recognizes the four. What are they doing here?! He goes inside first. 'Everyone outside! The Mukami's are here!' After giving his brothers the message, he goes back outside to Risa. She's scared for herself and Daiki.

Ayato drops the pool cue and exchanges a look with his brother.

Laity throws it away and follows.

'I will turn them into dolls if they come again.' Kanato could hear how mad Subaru was.

Even Reiji empties his hands and goes outside. If they land a hand on Risa or Daiki, I will have new experiment rats.

Subaru teleports straight in the middle. 'Don't worry, the others are close too.' He takes them in his arms.

Relieved, Risa leans against him with one arm around Daiki and the other arm around his neck.

He can feel her trembling. 'You have no business here.'

'You are trespassing.' Reiji saw how close they were to Risa.

'Get out now, or face retribution.' Shu appears on the other side and tries to surround the four men.

Subaru uses the distraction and teleports back inside her bedroom. 'Calm down, they won't try this again.'

She doesn't let him go yet. 'Who was that?'

I can't blame her. She was warned but what can she do against them? 'The Mukami's. Ruki is the oldest.' He sees her eyes. 'The one with dark hair, that's Ruki. The blond is Kou. The tallest is Yuma, and the one with green hair or bandages around his wrists is Azusa. Risa, is this even coming through? You just met them, and I can tell you are intimidated by them.'

'Ruki, Azusa, Kou, and Yuma. I saw them in that order,' she nods. 'Ruki had an air of authority. I could barely hear Azusa, he talked slowly. And Kou sounded so friendly that I think he has a darker side. Yuma, the tallest, is not someone I would want a argue with. He looks like he could break bones.'

So, she can use her head. Not everyone has a clear head in a chaotic situation. 'Okay, just calm down. Daiki could cry if you don't calm down.'

She turns her head at the baby in her arm and hears soft sobbing. 'I'm sorry, sweety. They surprised me, and I have to call one of them. I'm just human and no match for vampires. Sorry, my sweet boy.' She kisses him a few times. After calming down and a deep breath, she gives Subaru a kiss on his cheek. 'Thank you, you reacted fast enough to alert the others and took us both away.' She leans her head on his shoulder.

'I wouldn't want to miss you and Daiki,' he admits quietly. 'You are a part of this family, Risa. I know I'm not the only one to think this way. Thanks to you, we are a family.' I had many times I felt like an outsider for being an only child. Shu had Reiji, and the triplets have each other. Even if they don't get along much, minor detail.

A sob escapes her and looks up at him. 'That means a lot to me.' You're the second to say that. Am I really part of it? Or am I disposable?

'It's unbelievable that you two have such an influence on us. Daiki is seventeen days old, that's almost three weeks. Meaning, you are here for four weeks.' He thinks out loud. 'Much has happened in four weeks and this little one was born, my nephew.'
