Her eyes widened. 'I could never do such a thing or cause trouble for you two. Babies are innocent and need help with everything. Heck, I would rather protect the little one.'
Risa sips her water. 'It's true. Her name was Moriko, and she stole from Kanato, Reiji, Subaru, Laito, and Shu. Every time again, she wanted to put it in my room to incriminate me to get rid of me. All because she wanted the men for herself.' She could never forget what the girl did. 'For all the things she did, she also helped four others, the Mukami brothers, to kidnap me and lock me up with Kanato on a full moon.'
'During a full moon we are more thirsty than on a regular night,' explains Shu.
'If they didn't get help, they could have arrived too late.' Risa shakes her head to get rid of the image. 'They were on time, and both Daiki and I were safe. Shu carried me and him away from there. But the kidnapping and everything she stole,' she continued. 'The girl is dead. I haven't seen her but I'm told she's turned into a doll. And she has been punished several times before, but that was too much and she got killed. Never forget that they are vampires, and they would kill someone in the blink of an eye.'
'Thanks for that, but I would never go that far.' Haruna has trouble believing it. 'I guess I can't avoid being punished but something that is so severe. No, never in my life.' Noted, I'm sure they are old enough and killed enough women. 'What about school? Is it a vampire thing to have your looks work in your favor?' She feels her cheeks burning when Shu looks at her.
'We all do have fans at school.' Shu smiles faintly. I think you'll fit right in here. You're kind to Risa and protective of Daiki. That's what matters to me. 'You might get some hate or jealousy remarks.'
'They have never seen me, but they might assume you could be Daiki's mother.' Risa suggests by thinking out loud. 'Or their fans think you are someone's girlfriend.'
'Aren't you happy to have finished school,' reacts Haruna while she lets herself fall on the bed. 'I'll see what happens tomorrow.'
'Good luck, but there are a few rules. Apparently, no biting at school or in the car. Reiji would get mad. He could also get mad if you use the kitchen without his permission. Better work on getting a bit of his trust.' Risa learned some of the rules with Moriko. 'Most important, drink cranberry juice everyday. I know it's bitter but throw some sugar in it or honey for some flavor. They don't want you to become anemic.'
Haruna nods. 'I will, thanks for that.' She moves to Shu. 'Is he listening, by any chance?'
'We always do. Vampire hearing, we can't shut it off.'
'In that case, Reiji, is there anything else I should know?' Haruna hopes to hear from the man.
Only Reiji knocks on the door before coming inside. 'Shower in your bikini, don't wake us up too early, and listen to the rules. If you do that, you should be fine.'
'I forget that he loves his tea but he has a private collection. He'll never offer it to anyone, but downstairs in the kitchen he might make us some tea.' Risa catches his eyes. 'If he's in a good mood, of course. Just don't count it. We can make tea, coffee, and prepare something easy for breakfast but nothing for dinner. Speaking of which, I know I got some of your trust. Can she make something if I'm there?'
'That is possible. As long as you clean it after making food.' Reiji realizes the somewhat friendly atmosphere. I guess those two could be friends. She's normal and friendly. 'If you have any questions, you can knock on my door. Don't come inside without permission, and that goes for all of us.' He leaves the room by teleporting.
'Try to get used to it that they teleport most of the time. They don't do it to me because of Daiki, for you it will be different.' Risa sees Daiki waking up with his hands slightly in fists. 'He's getting hungry.'
