'Don't you get tired of saying that? Even you want clarity about who the father is. So why are you doing everything to stop me from doing that test?' Reiji took her temperature and sees how high it is. 'Right now, I don't care what you think or what you want. Your health comes first because it's not wise to breastfeed him when you're sick.'
'Wrong, it doesn't affect the milk he's getting.' Risa checked to be safe earlier. 'Right now, it contains antibodies. So no, he won't get it. And yes, I do want clarity, but not like this. I heard you say that you don't want a family and yet you help me so many times that he might take you as his father. When we all know that you're his uncle.'
Reiji shakes his head. 'I don't care. It's not like Daiki is going to remember it.'
Looking at the baby, Risa noticed he was moving his mouth. 'As long as I'm sick, you're not taking that DNA test. Daiki was worried about me and cried. You couldn't calm him down.' I have no idea how Shu could calm him. 'And it seems like he wants to eat now. So get out, none of you should want to see this anyway. That includes you too, Reiji. Even if you insist on helping, come back in about thirty minutes.'
One by one, the men disappear.
'When did you eat?' Reiji wants to know before leaving.
'I don't know. A couple of hours ago.' Risa waits for him to be gone and lifts her shirt for Daiki. I have one more day and night, dammit. About that, is it because I don't get enough sunshine? Or is it something else?

Even you want clarity about who the father is. So why are you doing everything to stop me from doing that test? Risa thinks about it while freshening up in the bathroom. She got her breakfast in bed. I'm not stopping the test, I'm merely postponing it. I do want clarity but on the other hand, I don't want to know. Why is he insisting? The moment the result is determined, I might have to leave this place because the father wants to get out. Wait a minute! The result could also be tempered with because the father isn't ready. She hurries up and goes back to her room. Where Daiki is rocking from left to right. 'Still awake, sweety?'
'Why are you dressed?' Reiji comes inside with a tray. 'You're sick, and sick people stay in bed, Risa.'
She shakes no. 'Not all of them, and I don't like it to stay in bed so long.' She does accept the tea from him. 'You didn't drug it with a sleeping pill, did you?'
'No, I might with Moriko.' Reiji checks with the baby and sees his blue eyes. 'She thought I was her wake-up call because she refused to get out of bed.'
Risa hides a smile by try sipping her tea. 'And you hate it when they stay in bed. I guess I'm an exception.'
'You are sick, Risa, and I still find you out of bed and dressed.' He sips his tea. 'Starting next Monday, we go back to school. Since you graduated, you stay here but you won't be alone.'
Of course not, I'm getting to know you all a lot better. 'I take it Moriko goes as well. Did her school uniform arrive?
'She does, and I expect the outfit to arrive tomorrow.' He eyes her outfit. Something easy and yet casual and comfortable. 'Risa, can you tell me why you are stalling the DNA test? You do want to know who the father is, right?'
She avoids his eyes and sips her tea. 'Because I want to be there when you perform the test.'
Surprised, Reiji looks at her. 'Why?'
'I heard you talk in your bathroom, Reiji. I had a question for you, but I heard the conversation between Shu, Laito, Ayato, and you. However, I don't remember the question.' She refuses to look back at him.
