"What weapons have they got?" Mike questioned the ghosts. They were still trying to communicate efficiently with each other and Mike had put his big boy boots on after his phone died, realising he had no other options.

"No, uhh, how many burglars are there?" he changed his question.

"Ah, yes, can do that." Julian was willing to help when it was something he could actually answer.

"And where are they?" Mike added on.

The ghosts let out groans of frustration.

"Oh, this is futile." the Captain was astonished at Mike's inability to ask easier questions.

Whilst Mike was worrying about if the robbers were bigger or smaller than him, Pat looked at what was capturing his attention from the corner of his eye and saw the sink in Mike and Alison's en suite.

"Oh, I think I've had an idea!"

"Me again? God! I haven't worked this hard since that animal welfare bill." Julian was getting pretty tired at this point. Pat just continued to stare at him, waiting for him to turn on the tap.

"Right, come on everyone, to the bog," Pat directed the group of ghosts.

Julian struggled to twist the tap handle but soon enough the squeaks that showcased the age of the bathroom caused Mike to run over and fully twist it. Water began to ran from the tap and the ghosts praised him happily.

"Very good."

"Aha, good good."

"Yes, yes."

Mike, thinking quick, lit a candle, exciting Robin in the process.

"Woah, woah," the caveman was amazed.

"Steady Robin, steady." the Captain reminded him.

"Every time..."

"Ok," Mike began, "how many burglars are there?"

"All right, here we go," with great effort Julian started to mark a number on the condensation on the mirror.

He drew the number three.

"3, ok," Mike mumbled to himself.

Julian then drew what looked to be a zero next to the three.

"30? I need to get out of here!" Mike panicked and dashed out of the room.

"What are you doing? There's not 30! Where did the zero come from? Where did the three come from?" Pat berated Julian, now of all times wasn't the ideal situation to tease Mike.

"No, I was writing three of them," Julian explained.

"That still does not explain why you drew a three." Thomas looked confused.

"Well, unfortunately, if Violet is truly in on the act then that means there are three robbers." Julian explained his intentions behind his answer. The ghosts murmured in understanding.

"Next time just write 3 then!" Pat was still annoyed at Julian.

"Well, hindsight is a wonderful thing," Julian defended himself.

"Moron!" Robin pointed at him.

Violet quietly moved about downstairs. She was hoping that if she could sneak outside, her phone would gain enough signal to call the police, unfortunately, without the WiFi working her network connection was very low.

On the way she was hoping to bump into Mike so that they could leave together, but there was no sign of him so far. She hoped in the process of Nev and whoever else he was with snooping around different rooms of the house, that they hadn't hurt Mike. Violet would feel extremely guilty in that case.
