"So you wanna have a chat with our Stacy?" the lady behind the till asks, folding her arms in suspicion.

Violet almost shrunk back into herself but decided now was not the time to wimp out and rush back home. She was already there, she might as well try and get some more information - she just didn't know if it would be anything new.

She had entered the quaint cafe hoping that Stacy Cunningham still worked at the place, and was overjoyed once she found out the woman was still there.

"Please, if that's alright, I used to know her, she might recognise me?" the girl asked cautiously, not wanting to push any boundaries.

"Alright," the lady simply said, before shouting, "Oi, Stace! This girl here says she knows you!"

Violet flinched at the sudden volume increase from the stern lady in front of her, but widened her eyes when the mother of her childhood friend appeared.

"Miss Cunningham?"

"Who are you then?" the withdrawn lady asked her, scanning her appearance from head to toe.

"I used to be friends with your son. Nev?" Violet stated nervously.

"My, my, if it isn't Violet Goodall!" the lady tutted, taking a few steps towards the girl.

"Ah, yeah, that's me," Violet awkwardly laughed, moving her stare to look around the little eatery.

"Right, then, I suppose you better come round the back and we'll have that chat you want?" the lady nodded her head towards the 'staff only' door and off they went.

"Erm, Alison, where is Violet gone?"

"Mary, I already told you, she has gone out," Alison sighed, putting her head in her hands. Mary nods looking towards the ground and walks away.

"Are they asking again?" Mike asks sympathetically, the couple sat at the table trying to think of their next plan to gain some traction and attention to Button House.

"Unfortunately," Alison simply stated.

"No, you can't see her first because we are meant to be going for a walk around the grounds!"

"Well I already planned that we'd watch Star Trek together which is more enjoyable than walking around outside. How many times can you do that before getting bored?!?"

The sounds of the Captain and Pat grew louder as they entered the drawing room, once again disturbing Alison's shortly lived peace.

"Will you be quiet?!? I'm sure that when Violet gets back all she will want is some time to herself to relax. Kind of what I would like as well right now," Alison raged at the two men.

They stood still in silence.

"Well, I, errr-"

"Oh, ummm, right well-"

"Just go!" Alison stared at them blankly.

They walked down the hallway and began to bicker again but at least they were out of the way.

"Yeah just go away!" Mike yelled at the ceiling, trying to stand up for his wife.

"Mike, they've already," she weakly began but couldn't be bothered to finish the sentence.
