Violet froze.
Why was Kelly Jenkins here?
No, no, how did she know Violet was here?
"I'm sorry?" Violet spluttered, eyes wide, not knowing what to do. She couldn't necessarily excuse herself to assist other guests because everyone seemed to be doing fine and the ones she had just been speaking to were busying themselves with the buffet.
The lady tutted.
"Let's talk?" Kelly Jenkins mumbled as she nodded her head towards the garden.Violet looked around nervously, none of the ghosts were directing their attention towards her. They must be occupied with observing new livings, and the others must be dotted around the house.
"Ok, but quickly," Violet said, leading the lady to the back garden as she held herself defensively.
"If I'm saying we're having a talk, we're doing it on my terms, nevermind you saying to be quick," Kelly said following the daughter of the lady who attacked her.
"Fine, fine," Violet leant against a wall, "what do you want?"
"I want some money. Compensation, you could call it, for the damage your rotten mother did," Kelly's stare tore right through Violet.
"And you think me, of all people, will be able to give you money?" Violet asked her, they used to live in the same area, she knows how Violet grew up, so why was she expecting her to cough up.
"It's glaringly obvious. Look at where you're shacked up now. Little Violet, sitting on diamonds and pearls. You're rich now," Kelly rambled on, taking a step towards the girl.
"There's no way on Earth that I have the amount of money you think I do. I'm sorry, but, you're not getting any of it," Violet said, taking a step to the side and going to leave when a cold hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.
"I'll get it one way or another."

"Where did Violet go? I thought she was advertising the catering. Everyone looks at me confused when I talk about the deals," Mike said to Alison as they quickly caught a moment to check on how they were getting on.
"I was going to ask the same thing to you," Alison stared, feeling confused.
"Alison, Alison, Alison," the Captain came striding across the room towards her.
Mike noticed the way Alison looked away and had a guess at what it could be.
"Ghost thing?"
"Yep," she simply replied.
"I'll handle everyone else," Mike said and continued to greet and chat to the guests looking around.
Alison threw a grateful smile his way before turning towards the Captain in a hushed whisper,
"Yes, what is it?""It appears young Violet has gone missing!"
"Yes, I know, we're trying to find where she is," Alison mumbled, walking out of the room and into the kitchen, taking a guess that the girl would be there, but she wasn't.
"It is incredibly irresponsible, I must say," the Captain began, thinking that he taught Violet better in being good at time keeping. After all, she was the one who took over in timing his morning runs. Well, she did most of the time. And the Captain was satisfied with that.
