"Now look here, nothing good will come of it. You must take that emotion and you must bury it. Never let it out. Keep it all in."
Violet was infuriated.
"That's utter bullshit!" she intervened.
"Excuse me, young Vi-"
"No, you will listen to me! It's no good telling her to bottle up her emotions. Where would anybody get if they didn't share how they were feeling?! It'll just eat them up inside until eventually, they're nothing. Until they're nothing! Honestly, I can't believe you Captain! That is no way to lead someone." Violet angrily spews out, not even thinking about what she was saying. She didn't want Captain to lead Fanny down the wrong path, the one that she had taken herself. She stormed off into the house, not being able to continue with tidying the garden due to the rage she was overcome with.
The Captain, astounded at the younger girl's behaviour, and the words she had shot towards him, promptly turned around with his baton under his arm and marched away. He was deep in thought.
"No more, Fanny, no more." the lady told herself watching as Mike struggled to pick up Florence once again. In his attempt of lifting the heavy figure, he did not hear what he would have seen as Violet shouting into thin air. It was probably for the best, it would have been a strange experience for him.
"Mike did you not just see what happened with Violet?!" Alison exclaimed as she turned to her husband.
"No, arrgh, what, happened?" he asked, using all his strength to try and move the statue.
"She just had a full on argument with Captain! Guess we're down to two now..."
"Aargh!" Mike shouted in pain. Annoyed that he wasn't getting anywhere with the task, he kicked the statue therefore hurting his foot.
"And now we're down to one..." Alison sighed, head in her hands.
"That was my favourite toe!" Mike complained from his spot on the ground.
"You have a favourite toe?" Sometimes Alison questioned how she ended up with Mike.

As her tense body met the softness of her bed, Violet sighed. It was not in her nature to blow up like that and let her emotions get the better of her, but the mental stress she had been under this week had gotten to her. The seemingly menial tasks of fixing maintenance issues in the house and the three of them rushing to beautify the garden were all too much.
She still believed the Captain had no right in saying what he did though. With clenched fists Violet thought about what could be going through Fanny's head - she didn't want her to resort to bottling up her feelings, it was something she knew all too well.
Yes, it is slightly hypocritical of Violet to get angry at the Captain when she does it herself. However, the long lasting effects of doing such things do take a toll on the individual.
Someone clears their throat,
"Young Violet, I believe we need to talk about something," the Captain spoke with a calm tone, stood in the doorway to not intrude upon Violet's reflective mood."Yeah, I think we should." Violet says, surprisingly calmly. She sits up and gestures the Captain to sit beside her.
He stiffly sits down next to her, wincing as his knees clicked.
"I must apologise for what I had said earlier, I can see how it affected you and for that I am deeply sorry."
"No, I'm sorry Captain, I never react like that in the normal way, but things have been quite... stressful recently and it all began to feel too much." Violet had almost shivered when revealing that she been feeling stressed.
