Thomas soon got over the what he called 'betrayal' from Violet.

It took 2 weeks.

But hey, he managed to get over it.

"You know, Thomas, I think that's the quickest you have let get of a grudge," Kitty informed him.

"It is all in the grace I hold, like a swan-" Thomas began, but Kitty had already walked away.

Thomas clenched his fists as he was cut off, he may have began to let go of grudges quicker, but that didn't mean he wouldn't acquire them any slower.

"Morning, Thomas!" Violet said as she put on some music for him, walking off to help the other ghosts find something entertaining.

"No, no! Violet, I am brooding! You must turn it off," Thomas rushed after her.

"What, you, brooding? That's unlike you," she sarcastically replied.

"What ever do you mean?" Thomas said shocked, a hand over his heart.

"You are a bit, well, dramatic," Violet informed him.

"Well, forgive me that I do not have the emotional range of a teaspoon!" Thomas waved his hand in Violet's face then stormed off.

"Charming," Violet muttered then got back to what she was originally doing, it was going to be a long day.

~~~~~
"Hi Pat, is there anything I can do for you?" Violet asked him.
"Violet, that's the fourth time you've asked now, is everything alright?" Pat raised an eyebrow at the girl, who was being more attentive than ever.
"I'm just trying to be helpful like I always am!" the girl falsely grinned.
"Yes pet, you are, but," Pat stopped himself from upsetting her further, "no thank you, I'm alright at the moment," he finished.
Violet nodded and walked off, keeping herself busy.
Pat shook his head confused. Violet's behaviour had become more sporadic as of recently, he couldn't predict what she was going to do next. What with her suddenly going out for the day to return in a quiet mood, and now being lively as anything and going around the whole house.
"Are you quite alright Patrick?" the Captain asked him. He had walked into the room to see Pat sat with a frown on his face.
"Oh, yes, yeah! Just thinking is all," Patrick suddenly lifted his head at the sight of the Captain.
"Anything I can help with?" the Captain simply asked.
"Fifth time!!!" Pat suddenly shouted in exasperation, getting up from his seat and leaving the room. He was beginning to think there was something obvious that someone needed to assist him with.
"Well I," the Captain blinked in disbelief, but soon enough continued his patrols around the house.
~~~~~

"I'm sure the last time I saw him was upstairs."

"We've just been up there. Let's try this way."

"If I'm being honest, I trust my instincts more than you."

"I'm just trying to help!"
