"So how are you going to tell her?"

I stopped dead in my tracks, my hand halfway to the door. "I don't know, I've never left for more than two days before." My heart pounded, San's leaving? Why is he leaving? Where is he going? How long is he gonna be gone? "We can figure this out later but we need to move on to bigger topics." What could be bigger than that? "What else is there?" I held my breath, heart drumming through my ears.

"Last night at the party, when Euna got separated  from everyone. Some guy tried to bring her upstairs, I intervened immediately but you should know. She was stumbling and prior to that was the kitchen incident, you know I'll send them out right now." Oh shit he told San, doesn't he know that's a grave mistake?! What does he mean send them out?! There was silence the whole time before, "Yunho go call Mingi, I'll send you the information." Run! I needed to move, he was coming but I couldn't bring myself to walk.

The door opened and Yunho stumbled back as he saw me, "Sorry Hongjoong's phone was ringing and he didn't here me call, just give this to him." I shoved the phone into his hand but before I could turn away his voice boomed. "What the hell are you doing back here? You know when I'm talking to people you stay away!" I felt like my heart was shattering, San was red in the face full of anger, and he was taking it out on me. Yunho looked worried as he looked between us, Hongjoong just looked at me expressionless. "Go!"

I finally sprung into action and walked away quickly after mumbling apologies. Tears were falling down my face as I grabbed my almost dead phone and walked outside quietly sitting on the front steps. The air was cold, especially against my legs but at the moment I didn't really care. San had a bad habit of taking his anger out on me, he tried not to and I know he felt bad so I learned to just take it and steer clear of it. The door opened behind me, I sniffled and wiped my eyes before looking the opposite way and covering majority of my face with the back of my hand and Hongjoong's hoodie.

There were a few steps before someone stood above me, "Hey...you okay?" It was Yunho's voice, he sat down next to me as he looked at me and then at the ground. I tried to hold it in but my tears just kept pouring out, "Euna? Do you want a hug?" The thought ran through my mind, Yunho was really sweet and kind. I felt safe with the whole group, San trusted them and that said a lot, so it was only fair I did the same. I nodded and he pulled me into a hug, my arms wrapped around his waist as he rubbed my back.

Something about the group made me feel safe, like I'd always be protected. "He didn't mean it...he's just upset." Yunho continued to rub my back as I spoke, my voice cracking. "Are you okay?" I knew what he was referring to and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. I gotta be." I pulled away wiping my eyes as I stared at the ground, "When you opened the door, you looked like you were going somewhere. I don't want to hold you up." He shook his head, "It's okay, I'm waiting on Mingi to get here. You know what, I have a few things to take care of but when I'm done we should hang out."

I smiled, "That sounds nice, I don't have class until tomorrow." He nodded and held his hand out for my phone, "I'll put our numbers in so you can call any of us if you need anything. And I mean it, don't hesitate." I nodded and handed him my phone after unlocking it, he proceeded to add 7 contacts to my phone. "I gave them nicknames, try to figure them out." I smiled as I looked at them, "The loud one...Wooyoung, Weed guy is Mingi, Jongho is the quiet one, puppy is you, Yeosang is the cute one, Hongjoong is the dad and Seonghwa is the mom." He laughed, "You aced it!"

There was an engine growing louder as it got closer, Mingi came through the Gates with a nice looking truck. It was an older model but nice, he got out and walked to us. "Hey...I heard, are you okay?" Did Hongjoong tell him? "I'm okay, thank you." He nodded and looked at Yunho, "Have you given her our numbers yet?" He nodded, "Just did, she has them all so she can call any of us." The door opened behind us and I tensed up, I didn't want to look at him.
