Everyone had finally settled down, the others had their talks to me while Hongjoong got to know Mimi. I shed a few tears but I was happy I got to see them again. "Euna?" It was a whisper, I had been laying on my bed lost in thought when Hongjoong opened it. I smiled seeing Mimi asleep in his arms, "Crib and you don't have to whisper. I want her used to sleeping through the noise."
He nodded and walked over sitting her in her bed, I watched him to make sure he did it right. My heart fluttered when he did, "She's beautiful.." I smiled, "It's your genes." He chuckled before I watched his eyes go dark and he took my hand pulling me to the bed. "We really need to talk..the last time we saw each other wasn't very good and then I thought you died.." I sighed and nodded he took my hands and pulled me to look at him, "The things I said to you..they were way out of line, I don't know what made me say them or why I did. There's no excuse in the world."
I cupped his cheek, "It's okay Joong, I know you didn't mean them.." He laid his hand over mine, "It's not okay, I should have never spoke to you like that. Also..asking if it was mine..I knew the answer I just for some reason felt the need to make you as angry as I could." I played with his fingers as he spoke, "And Euna god...I do want this, I want you, I want her. I want us to be a family. Back then I didn't know what I wanted but right now I'm 100% sure I want this. She's ours and I want us to be together with her." A tear slipped down my cheek, "I want us to be a family too."
He sighed heavily and I could see his shoulders relax, "Then please come home with me. We can get our own place if that's why you want. I'll do anything for you." I smiled as another tear slipped, "I can't..." His eyes widened, "Why not?" I sighed and glanced at Mimi, "I need to be stronger to protect her. It can't just be you Joong, I need this. I came here to train and that's what I'm going to do until the next ball." His eyes were wide, "Mimi will be over a year old by then..you're telling me I have to miss her birth and her first birthday?"
I slowly nodded, "We can celebrate her birthday when I get there. But until then yes, she'll know all about you and she'll know who her father is." He laid back and rubbed his face, "What if I stayed here with you?" I shook my head, "Mariana has tabs on you guys. It would be too suspicious to know you guys went to the U.S and then came back missing someone." I laid down and cuddled into his chest, he wrapped me up tightly, "We can call every night for her if that's what you want." He nodded, "Every night."
-November 15th- ~Euna's POV~
Tonight was the ball, it's been a very long and tiring year but I was back in Korea. Mimi's paperwork was already completed and she was technically born in America but by blood she was a South Korean citizen. We were at the NCT base now as I got ready, Yuta and Mark would be watching Mimi as I went to the ball with Taeyong. It would be the first time I see the boys since Valentine's Day. There was a knock on the door making Mimi giggle, "Euna?" I opened the door, "Yeah?" his eyes widened, "Damn!" I smiled and slapped his arm.
