He got up from the table and held his hand out for me. Curiosity killed the cat a thousand times over so I placed my hand in his and suddenly soft music was playing. I looked around but couldn't see where it was. Dom wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me in, swaying softly to the music. This is the first time we slow danced, ever and I can't think of a better moment for it. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat as well. This is perfection, in this moment, I have everything I could ever want.

We went back home and made love sweeter and softer than before. There was something in the way he touched and tasted, the way he lingered, the way his eyes were laser-focused on mine when he thrust into me. It took my body to new heights that left me in tears as I orgasmed. I held onto him tightly after, the two of us wrapped up in each other as we dozed off in happy bliss. His breathing and heartbeat lulled me to sleep. I don't think I've ever been in this position before, being so happy, content, relaxed, and in love. I'm just very happy and we are really good.

No matter where we go, there's always something, always a job, whether mine or Dom's and both of us are okay with that. He's learned not to question where or who my jobs come from and I don't get involved in his things unless he asks. That also happens a lot. He had a job in Mexico that I wasn't present for because I was off doing one of my own but he told me all about it when I got back. Told me all about a new friend he made and how this guy seems different than some of the guys he's worked with before..

"So smart ass, what now?" I asked as we laid in bed.

"Let's go somewhere else."

"You got someplace in mind?"

"You seem to like the beachy places. Let's go to the DR." he said, caressing my cheek.

"Really?"

"Yeah, Tiny ... let's get married in the DR." he said, turning to look at me.

"In the DR?" I asked, smiling at him.

"Yeah, we can do it just us or we can invite whoever you want. I don't care as long as you have my last name."

"I have to tell Vince at least, but I'm fine with it being just you and me. When it's safe to do so, we can have a party and invite the family. I don't care as long as I have your last name." I said, making him smile.

"I love you, Destiny Gonzalez, and I can't wait to change that to Toretto. No disrespect to Vince."

"I love you."

It took about two weeks to get everything settled in Mexico and to find somewhere to live in DR. Dom is the sweetest really, he found us a place that borders the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. As soon as we settled in, really settled in, we started looking for a small church to get married.

I spoke to Vince, he's in Brazil and according to him, he's doing good. He gave Dom his blessing for us to get married in exchange for a visit to Brazil sometime soon. Easy compromise for me. Dom spoke to Mia, told her what was happening but she was not going to come. I don't feel good or bad about it, I just don't care if she's here or not. I haven't forgotten how she treated my idiot brother and I just don't feel anything for her. I'm fully aware that Vince is a grown-ass man child but she was unnecessarily cruel to him and that's something I won't forget easily.

On the day of the ceremony, I dressed in a simple dress, thin straps with a low back, and a small bouquet because Dom insisted. My hair was loose and wavy, back to a rich, chocolate brown, and my makeup was super simple. The church was small, it was just the two of us and the priest. Dom looked so handsome in his white button-down and soft tan dress pants. Everything about this is simple and laid-back, just how we wanted it. The priest did the ceremony in Spanish but we understood him.

"Destiny, baby, I ... I don't know what I did to deserve you, to deserve this chance but I promise that this will be the best chance I ever have. I promise to love you, to make you smile, to make you laugh, to dry all of your tears, and make all of our moments memorable. I promise to do everything I possibly can to make you the happiest woman alive because standing here, is the happiest I'll ever be. Tiny, we have eternity in this moment and I promise to give you an eternity of love and adventures, happiness and fun. I know that with you I'm safe, with me you will be safe always. Whenever you feel weak, I'll find the strength to carry us both. I know that you have strength enough to carry both of us. I love you for the little things and I love you for the big things. For who you are and who you make me. I love you." Dom said, kissing my knuckles.

"Dominic Toretto, we've been in each other's lives for as long as I can remember but this time is different ... it will be. I've never loved someone the way that I love you. I promise to make you smile and happy, to frustrate you and make you laugh. I promise you an eternity of love. You will never be alone again. Where you go, I go. You ride, I ride because this is until the end of the line. I will never let you feel weak, you are my strength ... you give me strength and I will carry us whenever you need me to. I want to give you a family, to grow old together and go on races until we can't drive. Sit on the hood of a car and watch the sun set every day forever. As long as it sets while I'm in your arms ... everything will be perfect. I love you, Toretto." I said, sniffling when he used his thumb to brush away my tears.

The priest finished the ceremony but it didn't really settle in until I felt Dom's lips on mine. Until he wrapped his arms around me and called me his wife. He took me for a drive in my white dress and we went to the beach behind our house. We watched the sunset and then he carried me inside and made love to me as if it were the first time. My husband ... I'm a married woman now ... my husband got up and made dinner for us. For a few minutes, I just laid on the bed and watched him move around the kitchen. He's my husband ... it feels weird but it feels right.

"You hungry?" he asked, turning to look at me.

"Starving." I smiled.

"Come eat." he said, turning back to the stove.

Getting out of bed, I pulled on one of his shirts and walked into the kitchen. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pressed a kiss to his back before grabbing plates and utensils for us.

"You're my wife now." he said as he sat down, pulling me onto his lap.

"And you're my husband." I smiled, leaning down to kiss him.

"Teenage Dom would be very happy." he smiled.

"Teenage Destiny would be very surprised." I replied, making him laugh.

"Yeah, 'cause teen Tiny didn't pay me any attention at all. I wasn't even a blip on your radar."

"You really weren't though. I paid more attention to your dad than I did to you but look at where it landed us."

"I never thought I'd land the girl, especially not after you left. I would ask Vince about you, just randomly to see how you were doing."

"Really? V never mentioned it." I said.

"He wouldn't have, didn't want me to mess with his sister, remember?" he chuckled as I got off of his lap and sat down.

"Right ... you really messed up." I laughed.
