"Tiny, we can talk about this." Dom quickly said.
"Talk about what? You have a problem called Letty and I have a problem called anger issues. Those two problems don't really mesh well together."
"You gonna avoid us again?" Dom asked.
"No, that wasn't my intention. I made plans to go to the garage tomorrow with Jesse." I sighed.
"Des, we gotta talk about this." my brother said.
"What is there to talk about? She put her hands on me and I defended myself. She still lives in your house which means she'll still be a problem to whatever this is." I said to both of them.
"What are you suggesting? I kick her out?" Dom asked.
"No, I'm putting the ball in your court as to how you handle this. I'm not gonna keep putting myself in this position with you and Letty. You have choices you need to make and when you make them, let me know what they are."
"So you're just going to walk away?"
"I'm not walking away! I'm very much interested and invested in whatever this can be but it's on you to put a stop to Letty. This won't be some love triangle, Dom, that's not what I'm into or what I'm after. I don't know what you're gonna do or how you're gonna do it but you've gotta put a stop to her bitchiness and pettiness and jealousy. That's on you." I sighed, brushing my hair away from my face again and fixing my glasses.
"What exactly does that mean?" V asked.
"Jesus, what part of it wasn't clear?" I asked.
"D ..."
"It means, I'm choosing not to deal with Letty because I know it's gonna lead to more problems. Letty is your problem and you alone have to fix it if you want things to work between us, Dom. I won't allow her continued disrespect and I refuse to deal with her in the environment of what can be a relationship. Dom, you need to figure out how to handle her and put a stop to her bullshit or else we're not going to work. Now if what you wanted was a have your cake and eat it too scenario then count me out. V, you need to stop thinking that you can control and dictate what I do. You're my twin, not my father and you're the last person to criticize me about my anger problems." I told them, hoping that this time I made myself absolutely clear.
"Tiny, you're the only one I wanna be with, I thought I made that clear." Dom said, clearly hurt.
"A little clarity never hurt." I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"I'll handle the situation, but you're the one I want. It's you and me, Tiny." Dom said, stepping forward to cup my face within his hands.
"You and me and Vince." I smiled, placing my hands on his waist.
"At least one of you thought of me. I'm sorry, not sorry about wanting to protect you." V said, not that I expected any less.
"Ass." I complained, stepping away from Dom.
"You haven't been here in years, things are different from when you left. There's also the fact that I don't want anything to happen that would make you leave again. I really missed you, D." He said.
"You ass." I sniffled, more emotional this time.
"I know, I love you too, baby D." He said, hugging me and pressing his forehead to mine.
"Why are the two of you here and not still at the race?" I asked them.
"Why would I stay after what happened?" V asked.
"How could I stay?" Dom asked.
"Okay, gentlemen, now that that's settled, you can go. We all know what we need to know and everything has been put out in the open." I told them.
