"You two know each other?"

"A business partner, as usual, Miss Ong." Kaswal na sagot ni Hans Verdadero.

Binalingan nya si Ezekiel na inaayos ang butones sa sleeves ng suot nito.

"And what are you doing here?" Aniya. "You neglected your meeting there."

"Don't mind me here. Continue what you two were going to talk about."

"Alis dito, Ezekiel."

"I'm not your employee, don't boss me around."

"Miss Agatha, start na po tayo?" Ani Piper.

Nilahad nya ang business proposal kay Hans Verdadero, she can feel Ezekiel's hand towering at her back.

"This is nice, Miss Ong."

"Just Agatha."

"Alright then, Agatha. Tito Elliot were a loyal partner so I must say that he raised you well enough."

"Thank you then,"

Tumikhim si Kila bago yumuko sa gilid ni Ezekiel. Tumango naman ito.

"I'll sign it, Agatha."

Pinanuod nyang pirmahan ni Hans iyong papel bago inabot sa kanya. She offered her hand for a quick handshake, Hans accepted it.

Nakaalis na si Kila.

"Bakit ba nandito ka?"

He flicked his ear. "I don't like the meeting process, Kila will handle it."

"Umalis ka dito. I'm busy."

"I thought the marriage between you two were fake?" Tanong ni Hans bago kaswal na sumimsim sa juice nito. "Or did you two made up a story to keep your relationship private."

"It is fake. I don't know what's his business here. But Mr. Verdadero, can you not mind him?"

Tumango si Hans at tinapos na ang pagpirma nito sa kontrata. Nagpaalam na din ito dahil susunduin pa daw ang asawa sa airport. Piper called for the bill and settled the payment.

"Can you please excuse us, Piper?"

Lumingon si Piper sa kanya, umiling si Agatha.

"Gusto mo bang marinig ni Piper ang kung anong nangyari sa ating--" tinakpan nya ang bibig ni Ezekiel.

Yumuko naman si Piper at niligpit ang mga dala nila. Ezekiel chuckled.

"Gusto mo ba talagang malaman ng lahat na pumapayag ako sa ganito kahit kayo ni Ybon."

He slowly licked his lower lip. "Did you really believed that Ybon and I got back together?"

"Wag ka na nga magsinungaling. Nakita ko kayo."

"I was drunk, she saw me and offered to drop me home. I kissed her, but I just kissed her."

"Do you think, I care? Tapos na tayo, Ezekiel."

Pinaglandas ni Ezekiel ang mata sa mukha nya, umiwas sya at tatayo na sana kaya lang ay hinila ni Ezekiel ang upuan nya palapit dito. Napahawak sya sa hita nito.

"The fuck!"

"Stay, we're not yet done talking."

"Wala na tayong pag uusapan."

"Hand me over your phone,"

"Bakit?"

"Just do it."

Inabot nya ang cellphone nya dito, Ezekiel operated it. Kapagkuwan ay binigay na sa kanya uli, pairap nya iyong kinuha.
