Complicated mate

Chapter Three

                          Emily's POV ◕‿◕

      " That's no wa- ", Tara made to said , and I signalled her to stop , confronting them was going to do us no good , so the sooner I got this over with , the better for all of us .

     " Let them be Tara , it's no use ", I whispered to her , and I could still feel her anger , and I knew she was trying hard to control herself .

      " What were you about to say , you b*tch ", Hayley cursed , referring to Tara . I got really mad that she dared to call my best friend a b*tch , but I didn't say anything . I couldn't . I was helpless , and I didn't want to put my wolf in danger .

       " Nevermind ", I said , and Hayley looked at me with disgust .

        " Oh please , just shut up , miss weak wolfie , I wasn't talking to you , moreover , I don't talk to people that are worthless , I only tell them who they are , just like you are a lowl.... ", She made to say , when someone interrupted her .

        " I think that's enough Hayley ", I heard a voice say , and that sent shivers down my spine , the voice was masculine , and quite authoritative , and it shut Hayley up at once .

         I looked up to see Leo , I mean Alpha Leo . I just couldn't take my eyes off him . He was super tall , around 6'5 , he had Jet black hair , light brown eyes , and red lips . He was one of the youngest alphas , assuming the position of alpha at 15 , and he was around 18 now .
         Leo was really strong , and he was every girl's dream guy , including me . Although he ender up with Hayley , I could never stop loving him .
               He turned to look at me , and my cheeks flushed red . It was no time to blush , but I had just been caught staring by my very first and subsequently my only crush , I couldn't help but blush . I immediately diverted my gaze to the floor , and Tara nudged me , what a great time to taunt me !

            " Let the poor girl be ", Leo said , and Hayley walked up to him , and gave him a long kiss . I felt really jealous , I wish I was the one giving him that kiss , but I wasn't worthy of it , so it couldn't happen .

             " But I didn't do anything wrong ", Hayley said , after she pulled out of the kiss .

            " Neither did she , it wasn't her fault ", Leo said , and I felt somewhat happy that he was defending me .

             " Okay , fine ", Hayley said , and she threw her hands over his shoulder , and continued kissing him . I couldn't take it any longer . She liked to show of that he was her boyfriend , but I had enough , no girl would enjoy watching her crush be with another girl , so I ran out of the class . Tears rolled down my cheeks . I ran into the woods , and there I sat on a log .
  
           I kept crying . I was so deeply hurt , and I was sure my wolf was too . She did talk about being attracted to his wolf as well , so I was sure she liked him too .

          " Are you okay ", I heard a voice say , and I looked up to see Alpha Leo .

          " I'm sorry , I have to go ", I said , and I made to leave , but he caught hold of my hand , and pulled me to him .

          " I asked a question ", he said , and fear filled my body , I didn't want him to get furious , because everyone was aware of how he was when he gets angry .

           " I guess I am ", I lied , and he tightened his grip on my waist .

         " I have a feeling that you are lieing to me ", he said , and  he was right , I was definitely lying , but I couldn't just tell him that I liked him and that I was hurt seeing him with someone else , coupled with the fact that I had just been insulted because my wolf was weak .

            " I guess I'm not okay ", I said , and a fresh batch of tears rolled down my cheeks .

          " I'm sorry for all Hayley said ", He apologized , and I didn't want him to because it wasn't his fault . One should only take responsibility for their actions not the actions of others , especially not Hayley .

          " No need to be sorry Alpha Leo , it wasn't your fault afterall ", I said , and his grip tightened on my waist again , and that startled me .

          " Don't call me Alpha , just call me Leo ", he said , and I was shocked that he demanded that I called him by his name .

            " O-ok ", I stuttered , and he wiped the tears from my face , and pressed his lips on mine , he made to deepen the kiss , but I pulled out , my cheeks were now red .

           " This isn't right ", I said , and ran out .
