Complicated mate

Chapter Nine

                         Emily's POV (・o・)

          Who knew what this rogue was about to do to me ? He was definitely going to kill me or assault me . I shouldn't have stopped by the café , this was a bad idea .

               The thoughts of what people would say after my assault flashed through my head . They'd say ' she was assaulted because she stopped by for some snacks ' or that ' she got assaulted when she rushed to school to plan against a beautiful senior ' what were people seriously going to say ?

      This was happening to me because of my foolishness , it was all my fault . I didn't have a valid reason for this happening , so I was sure afterwards , that even though I was supposed to be the victim , I'd be mocked instead .

         " L-leave me a-a-alone ", I stuttered , and his grip on my arm tightened , and he now wore this wry smile . He had something mischievous in that disgusting rogue mind of his .

        He didn't say anything to me , instead , he dragged me to a dark , lonely corner . What was he going to do now ? All I could do was to say my last prayers , and hope that I'd make it to heaven if werewolves could .

          He bent his head next to my shoulder , and blew a hot air on my neck . I shuddered in fear . This was it .

       I closed my eyes in fear , and I felt him rip the sleeve of my dress . I shot my eyes open , and tears flowed down my cheeks . He made to touch me , but then someone forcefully removed his hand from me , then I heard the person punch the rogue . I could only fall to the floor , and curl up in a ball , hugging my knees tightly .

             I finally got the courage to look up , and I saw a guy with Jet black hair , and I saw his brown eyes and red lips . I knew him , he was Alpha Leo .

      He gave the rogue another punch in the abdomen , and the rogue vomited some blood , but laughed about it . I noticed that leo had gotten aggreviated , and punched him on his face . The rogue began to bleed from his nose as well .

           Leo continued beating the rogue , but he finally let him go . Leo came up to me , and hugged me . I was shaking . I couldn't even begin to think of all that would have happened to me if leo hadn't showed up .

       " How are you ? Did he do anything to you ", Alpha Leo said , sounding concerned .

      " I'm okay , h-he was going to h-hurt me ", I stuttered . I was so scared , the whole scenario played in my head over and over again , and I was so frightened .

       " You're alright now , I would never let any harm befall you ", he said , and tilted my chin to meet his eyes , then he kissed me . It was a short passionate one , filled with so much love , that made me wish it lasted longer.

        " Let me carry you to the car , I'd take you to my lil pack house , and you can change into something ", Leo said and I nodded . He scooped me info his arms , almost as if I was lighter than a feather . He took me to his car , and he put me in the front chair , next to the driver's seat . He also helped me strap my seat belt , then he got in and started driving .

       " You know that you shouldn't be out that early ", he said , and I didn't respond . He was right , but I didn't want to tell him about why I was out early .

      I didn't know when tears slipped from my eyes , and I sobbed . He turned to me and noticed that I was crying .

      " Oh shit ! Don't cry , I didn't mean to make you cry ", he tried to console me , but I didn't listen . He was right , this was all my fault ! What if he wasn't there to save me .

      " You're right , this was all my fault ", I said , still crying .
