Emily's POV ✿ ⁰ o ⁰ ✿
Leo had drove me to school , and he went off to be with his friends , while I searched the hallway for Tara . I was hoping I could find her , so I could tell her all that happened , and why I didn't reach the school sooner . I finally retired to my locker , to get my books and head for class , maybe I could even text her while I'm in class .
I walked towards my locker , to see Tara there , she was actually waiting anxiously for someone , and when she saw me , her eyes lit up .
" Emily ", she said , and gave me a big hug . I hugged her back tightly , inhaling her amazing shampoo . It smelt like coconuts , and I loved it .
" Did you change your shampoo ", i asked , pulling out from the hug .
" Yup , the store was out of my regular , so I just thought I'd try something different for a change ", she said , and I mouthed an ' O '
" I love this one , text me the name , I just have to get one too ", I said .
" Ohk sure ", she said . " And um... Why were you late , I was worried sick . Also , did you get new clothes ? ", she said , and my expression fell . Pictures of what happened with the rogue came flashing in my mind , and all of a sudden , I felt dirty . Tears began to form in my eyes .
" Um... I was walking to school ", I started , and I couldn't hold back my tears anymore , so they rolled down my cheeks .
" Are you alright ", Tara asked , and and she gave me a hug , stroking my hair .
" No I'm not ", I said , still crying . " A rogue was going to r-rape me ", I said , and I began to cry uncontrollably . I felt Tara tense up at the mention of my last words .
" What !? Who would do such a thing ? and that to my friend ", Tara said , and I knew she was starting to get angry . I had to get her to calm down , else her wolf would have gotten the best of her .
" I don't know . But Alpha Leo saved me , and he took me to his pack house , that's where I got these clothes ", I said , and Tara hugged me tightly .
" I'm so sorry , this is all my fault ", she said , and I could sense that she was crying .
" No it wasn't , and I'm fine now ", I said , hoping she would stop blaming herself for my misfortune .
" You're crying , Emily . Is that your definition of ' fine ' ? ", She said , and I pulled out of the hug and wiped my tears .
" Done ", I said , and Tara smiled sadly . She wiped her tears as well .
" Oh , and I better get my books , we have classes now remember ", I said .
" Yeah , that's true ", she said , and I walked to my locker and opened it up . I took out my books and went back to Tara who watched me intensely . It was almost as if she had something to say to me .
" Um..... Emily , I think that it would be safer if I don't drag you into my problems with Allison ", Tara said , and I got angry . How could she even think that asking she was endangering me by asking me for help .
" Are you serious , are you seriously locking me out of your problems as well , it's fine , I guess I'm just so bad at everything that even my bestie doesn't trust me to help her ", I said angrily , and walked out . I heard her calling out to me , but I chose not to respond .
I didn't talk to Tara for the rest of the day because I was so angry . Finally school was over , and just as I was about to leave , I heard her call out to me .
