Complicated mate

Chapter Ten

Emily's POV (✿^‿^)

" You know that's not what I meant , I couldn't possibly blame you for it , it's not like you knew that the rogue was going to attack you ", Leo said , and he parked his car by the road .

" Why did you park ", I asked , wiping my tears with the back of my palm .

" I couldn't possibly concentrate on driving while my princess was crying ", he said , and he wiped the tears off my cheeks .

" Are you fine now ", he asked , and I nodded .

" I guess ", I said looking down .

" So can I resume driving ", he asked and I looked up at him .

" It's not like you asked before you stopped anyway ", I said jokingly , and he chuckled .

" I guess that is a yes ", he said , and he resumed driving .

We had finally reached Alpha Leo's pack house after minutes of driving . It was a small house , it had an amazing exterior design , I could already imagine how good it looked on the inside .
It was a big mansion , it had a water fountain on the center , and on the left and right of the fountain , were two pathways , that led inside . There were lots of flowers by the side of the house as well .

" Wow ", I said , as I came down from the car and Leo held my hand .

" Let's go in ", he said , and he led me inside .

" Leo ? I thought you already left ", I heard a voice say , and I looked at the stairs to see a guy walking down . He was wearing a white t-shirt , a black leather jacket and black trousers . He had dark brown hair , amber eyes and pink lips . He was also tall like Leo , I guess it was in their pack genes . He looked around 6'4 ish .

" Am I not welcome in my pack ", Leo asked instead .

" Not what I meant though , and Emily , why is she here ", the guy asked , and I was somewhat shocked that he knew my name , yet I didn't know who he was , but I think I had seen him somewhere .

" Who is he ", I asked Leo .

" Oh , umm.... Meet Ray , my older cousin , and my beta ", he said , and Ray grinned widely , as he ran down the stairs and made his way to us .

" Hi Emily ", Ray said " I've heard alot about you ", he added .

" Same here , I have heard alot about Ray , Alpha Leo's beta , but I had never seen him ", I said excitedly .

" Why are you guys screaming ", I heard a feminine voice say , and I was shocked . I was confused , and I didn't know what to make of this . What was a female doing in Leo's mansion ? Aside being a worker obviously , was she his girlfriend ? Or maybe his soon to be Luna or was Hayley here ? I couldn't get myself to think straight . The voice didn't sound like Hayley's , so I instantly concluded that Alpha Leo only used girls and dumped them . He never actually committed to a relationship .

I tried my best to pull myself together . I was a big fool to think that a rich and feared Alpha would fall for a nobody like me .

I looked up to see the owner of the voice . She just stood at the staircase railing , looking down at us from there . I noticed that she had short blonde hair , ocean blue eyes and pink lips . He sure has a thing for blondies . She was actually really pretty , only that she seemed older than he was , so I wondered how he was dating her .

" Is that a girl ", she said excitedly , and ran down the stairs to meet me . I wondered why she was so excited to meet me , because I wasn't so happy seeing her .
