Emily's POV (✿^‿^)
I knew it was wrong of me to have kissed him , or rather let him kiss me , but I still felt somehow bad for pulling out .
I ran into the janitor's closet and I closed the door . I fell to the floor and burst out in tears . My life was in a mess , and I was sure that my mental health was deteriorating .
My wolf was useless , I was in serious trouble with the bullies , and I can't even find love .
" Emily ", I heard Tara call out to me from the outside .
" Emily , I know you're in there , I'm coming in ", she said and I realized I should have masked my scent because there was no other way I'd be able to hide away from everyone in peace . Or maybe Tara just knew me so well , afterall , we had been best friends since childhood .
" Emily ... ", She called out , and then pushed the door open . She walked over to me and knelt down beside me.
" Oh my goodness , you really look like a piece of crap right now , no one's going to want to look at you ", Tara said , and I didn't care about how I looked . I already had a lot of problems , and my looks were perhaps the reason .
" Alpha Leo kissed me ", I blurted out , and I felt Tara get excited .
" Alpha Leo , as in the.... Alpha Leo ", Tara asked , trying to confirm if I was being serious , and I couldn't possibly joke about something like that . I knew she was going to burst with excitement as soon as I told her that it did happen
" I'm serious , my only worry now is Hayley , she is going to kill me when she finds out ", I said , and a fresh batch of tears rolled down my cheeks .
," You're at it again , why do you always worry about the wrong things . You have Leo , then why should Hayley bother you ? If you're sure that Leo loves you , then I'm sure he'd protect you ", Tara said , and she was actually right , but I tried to force myself to believe what she had said .
" You know how Hayley can be , and also Alpha Leo would probably get fed up with Me and my weak wolf ", I said , and Tara eyerolled , she was annoyed by my statement , but I could not get myself to avoid the truth , just because it wasn't as palatable .
" Just give the whole thing a chance , and if Alpha Leo does anything to make you cry , then I'll kick his a** ", Tara said , and we both burst out laughing . I wiped my tears , and gave her a hug . I was so lucky to have an amazing friend like her .
" Now we have to go back to class , remember we have a test today ", Tara said , and we stood up , and walked to class .
The trainer was already in front of the class , and everyone was carrying their gym bags , about to go change in the locker room . I and Tara hurriedly went to out chair to get ours , then we went out with the other girls to change in the locker room .
" Oh so you decided to take the test ", Hayley mocked me , I had thought that she would adhere to Alpha Leo's warning , but turns out she has a bad habit of not obeying instructions .
