Emily's POV ✿ ⁰ o ⁰ ✿
I opened my eyes to the new day . I was really tired when I reached home from school yesterday . Mum wasn't back from work yet , so I had gone to my room to chat with Leo and then I made myself dinner and went to bed .
I went to my bag , and I took out the piece of paper the little girl had given me at the train station . I still didn't know what it held .
I looked into the piece of paper , and I saw a picture of a girl , she was supposed to be me . She had my eyes and my hair . She didn't look exactly like me , but the coloring kinda made it look accurate . Looking at this made me smile . I saw a small writing at the corner . It read ' Rosa ' it was probably her signature .
I ran my fingers across the drawing , then I folded it neatly , and placed it under my pillow . It would remind me of that little girl . I wanted to have a daughter as cute as her .
I heard my door open , and I turned to see mum . I ran to her and gave her a hug .
" Good morning mum ", I said smiling .
" Morning honey , you're up early ", she said , and she had noticed how unusually early I had woken up . Maybe the reason I had woken up that early was because I slept late .
" I'm as surprised , come and sit down , I have alot to tell you ", I said , and I took her hands and led her to the bed . We both sat down , and she stared at me , curious to know what I had to say .
" Mom guess what ", I said
" Emily , please don't keep me in suspense ", mom said .
" Ohk fine . I have a boyfriend now ", I said , and my mom's jawdropped .
" Wait for real ", my mom asked , and I nodded
" And , my boyfriend is Alpha Leo ", I said .
" Stop it with the jokes hun ", mum said in disbelief and I chuckled because even I couldn't believe it .
" I'm not joking mom , he asked me out yesterday ", I said , and my mom's face lit up .
" That was actually a big one . Alpha Leo ? How did it even happen ", my mom asked .
" I just don't know mom , everything happened so quickly ", I said , and my mom gave me a hug .
" I'm just happy that you're happy ", my mom said .
" But you have to be careful , I wouldn't want you to end up hurt ", my mom said , and I nodded .
" He loves me mom , he wouldn't hurt me ", I said , and I knew deep down that Leo wouldn't hurt me . I trusted him with my life .
" and also , don't have s*x with him without ...... ", Mum made to say , but I cut her off .
" Mom ", I said , and covered my ears , while blushing .
" You should get going now mum , I'll also go and get ready for school ", I said , trying to get my mom to leave .
" Fine I'm going ", mum chuckled , then she got up and left . I lay back on my bed , staring at the ceiling . I thought about how my life was going really well . Everything was fine , and my problems were somewhat solved . Except my weak wolf . But that didn't matter , I had a boyfriend who knew about it , but he didn't care anyway , so there was no need for me to be bothered .
My phone rang , and I picked it up .
" Hayley ? " I said in surprise , staring at the name of the caller . Why was she possibly calling me ? I knew I shouldn't answer her call , but I just felt curious to know what she had to say . I finally picked the call .
' what do you want ', I said
' nothing to do with you ', she said , and I eyerolled . Like I wanted anything to do with her as well .
' then why did you call ', I asked sarcastically .
' to tell you that the school dance is next weekend ', Hayley said , and I got somewhat excited . The school dance was coming up , and I had a boyfriend now , so I could go with him . But if it was scheduled for the weekend , then it'd probably cut my movie date plans , but she said ' next weekend ' so it's probably not going to interfere with my movie date .
' ohk thank you , didn't know you now announced school events to people . Doesn't the school website work ? Or I think maybe getting it into the school magazine would have been a better idea ', I said , taunting her , and I wished that I could see her face over the phone , and see her expression .
' don't get so confident , cos I am not done yet ', she said ' I just called to warn you that if you come to the dance with Leo , then I'd make sure Jess and Jay get seperated for good ', Hayley threatened , and I had no choice but to give in . I didn't want Jess and Jay to be seperated because of my selfishness , so I'd have to let go of the dance for them .
' fine , I won't come to the dance with Leo , but don't do anything to seperate Jay and Jess ', I said
' fine ', she replied , and hung up .
I threw my phone on the bed , and held my knees close to my chest . Tears welled up in my eyes , and I let it fall . I was going to have to lie to my boyfriend . I would have to say no to him if he asked me to the dance . I wish I could do something . Had my wolf been a little stronger , then maybe I would have done more . Why did trouble always have it's way of finding me ?
