Emily's pov ^o^
I took a bite of Mae's delightful cupcakes , and the taste was as amazing as always . I had smudged some icing on my nose but I didn't seem to notice .
" Haha ", Leo laughed , pointing at my nose .
" What's funny ", I asked confused , turning to Mae and Ray who also started laughing .
" What is so funny you guys ", I asked again .
" You smudged some icing on your nose ", Mae said , and I looked at them with eyes that meant ' seriously ? ' but they continued laughing notwithstanding .
I took a cupcake from the tray , and threw it at Leo , and his face was covered in icing . He sat there frozen in shock .
" Food fight ! ", Mae declared .
" Not the cupcakes ", Ray complained .
" I'll make some later ", Mae said , throwing a cupcake at Ray .
I made to turn to Leo , but midway , I was intercepted by a cupcake that hit my cheek . And of course it was from my dear boyfriend , Leo . He was so dead !
I carried a couple of cupcakes and threw them at Leo one after the other , , trying my best to dodge his own aims .
" Great ! We're out of cupcakes ", Mae said .
" We give up ", Ray said .
" Speak for yourself , I was definitely going to crush Emily ", Leo said and I shot him a glance .
" Oh really ? ", I asked .
" I take that back , maybe it was a tie ", Leo said and we all burst out laughing .
" Can I open the wine now ? ", Ray asked .
" go ahead , but Emily and I are going to have milkshakes ", Mae said .
" Why won't you have wine ? ", Leo said to me in what sounded like a whisper .
" Um...... I'm actually lightheaded , so I don't do alcohol ", I responded .
" Well , I am not going to take no for an answer , you have to have some wine , even as little as a glass ", Leo said , and I didn't have a choice , since I didn't want to go against him , moreover one glass wouldn't hurt .
" Ohk fine ", I said
" Emily would have wine , so I guess you're alone Mae ", Leo announced .
" I might as well just have wine today , just this once at least ", Mae said .
" I'll just put the milkshakes into the fridge and get extra glasses for our wine ", Mae added , then she took the milkshakes and left .
Not long after , she came in with two glass cups for our wines .
Ray popped the wine open , and he poured some into all the glasses , and we all took our glasses .
" I really need a shower ", I said to Leo .
" Well , after having your drink , you can take a shower and Mae could give you some of her clothes ", Leo said , but I felt kinda guilty about it .
