Emily's POV (✿^‿^)
Not long after , Leo parked his car in front of his pack house . I saw two figured standing at the front door . It looked like Ray and Mae . I got down from the car quickly and ran to Mae , then I gave her a big hug .
" Hi ", I said pulling out of the hug .
" Don't I get a hug too ? ", Ray said , and Mae nudged him playfully .
I felt a huge person behind me , and strong , protective arms wrapped around my waist . I looked up at Leo , I couldn't get enough of his scent . I loved the perfume he used . It always made me feel safe and calm .
" Not now ", I whispered to him , but he didn't stop . Mae cleared her throat .
" Leo , I hate to say this , but you have all the time in the world with your girlfriend , can I just have a nice hangout with my friend ? ", Mae said , and my face turned red .
" Fine , she's all yours , for today though ", Leo said , and we all burst out laughing .
" Okay , let's go ", Mae said and took me inside . We went into the kitchen where she making something nice . The scent of sweet cupcakes filled the air .
" Omgggg !!! What's is that delightful scent ", I asked , my mouth watering already .
" Ohh I was just making some cupcakes , do you mind tasting them for me ", she asked , and I had already taken a bite out from one .
" Sorry I couldn't wait , but they are soooooo good ", I said , and Mae chuckled .
" No problem ", Mae said . " But you have to pay for eating my cupcakes ", she said mischievously .
" Geez ! What did I get myself into ", I said and she started laughing .
" So what do I have to do ? ", I asked , having no other option , since I had snacked on her irresistible cupcakes .
" You have to help me finish baking the cupcakes , making popcorn , as well as some drinks for our movie date ", Mae said .
" Easy pizzy , I thought you were gonna ask for something harder ", I said .
" Now let's get baking ", she said , and she wore an apron and a chef's hat , and gave me one to put on too .
" Can you please whisk the eggs ", she asked , and I got to it .
" So have you and Ray gotten married yet ? ", I asked .
" Naa , not yet . We're engaged though , but for Ray hasn't brought the topic of marriage up yet . You know , sometimes it's does bother me , and I don't know how long I'd be able to wait , till I bring up the topic ", Mae said .
" Maybe he has plans , or he is just waiting for the right time ", I said .
" Yeah , maybe ", she said .
" And that's it . That was the last batch of cupcakes , so it's time to make the popcorn . I'll make the popcorn and you can make the drinks ", Mae said and I nodded .
" What drinks are we making ? ", I asked .
" The guys would have wine , but since I don't do wine , I'd take a banana milkshake . If you'd like a milkshake too , then you can make whatever flavor you like , otherwise you can have wine with the guys ", Mae said .
