Chapter 1- The Heir of Devon

If one was to enter the room of the CEO of Devon Co. Ltd., one would spot a handsome man in a business suit... calmly thinking.
He was thinking. But not calmly.
The rage and the turmoil of his problems conflict him.
Steven Stone was not happy. He could not believe that Groudon, Rayquaza and Kyogre had been angered by anyone other than Team Flare. Their attempts on Darkrai and Diancie were painfully obvious.
Devon had entered all sorts of elite businesses that sold to wealthy, selected companies and customers. Arms, machines, shipbuilding, fossils, vehicles, aircraft, Mega Stones...
That had brought him to Kalos.
He had to put a stop to whatever this nonsense was.
Where was Ash Ketchum and where was Lance Wataru when you needed them?
His thoughts flickered back to when Hoenn was in danger. They had arrived in the nick of time and saved the world from Team Aqua and Magma.
Speaking of fighting the Weather Trio,
Alain was a point of great concern.

No. Malva's Mega Houndoom was much stronger than Siebold's Mega Blastoise. Alain's Mega Charizard X defeated Malva's ace after defeating nine other Mega Pokémon.
Nine!
And yet, it lost to Siebold's ace in a one- on- one combat!
How??!!
Impossible, either he was holding back against Siebold or he was illegally boosting his Charizard against Malva.
Malva's Houndoom was capable of giving him a great fight, and that Charizard was thrashed by his Mega Metagross. And yet, against the Legendary Pokémon trio, he was doing almost- mark almost- as good as Metagross!!!!!!!
No, it just did not... fit.
Was Alain a Team Flare sleeper agent? An undercover spy, the leader's ace?
The thought chilled his spine.
He had to put a stop to whatever this nonsense was... he told himself.
Ash needed backup. He flicked through Ash's trainer profile. What Pokémon did Ash have... strong and capable of Mega Evolution?
