Chapter 3- The Rivals of Ketchum

Sinnoh Champion, Cynthia Shirona, was currently watching TV. Some of Ash Ketchum's Pokémon battles were replaying on TV today.
Oh, Ash, I wish we could be together.
A moment later, she blushed deeply as she realized what she wanted. A moment later, she relaxed and raised a glass of vodka.
'To Ash.' she toasted.
At the same moment, her butler, Jervis, entered.
'Ma'am, two men are standing outside, asking to meet you. '
'Who. are. those. unfortunate. people?!'
'One said that he was... an... I can hardly believe how he said it... an ex- challenger. '
'Huh?!' Cynthia's curiosity arose. 'Send them in here.'
They heard voices outside.
'Paulie- boy, you are such a loser. How do you not know how to drive a car?'
'Pathetic. Why do I bother? You can. Leave the battling to me, though. At least I defeated Ketchum several times. '
'Paul, you idiot! You treated your Pokémon like tools before Ashy- boy kicked your ass. '
'Really? If I had heard correctly, I believe you were a narcissistic, obnoxious, selfish, womanizing bastard before Ketchum kicked your ass.'
Cynthia knew that voice.
'Paul!'
'Ah, yes, Cynthia. Nice to meet you again... I believe you look good. I was on the way to the airport with this piece of pathetic researcher shit and could not resist dropping by to check on an ex- opponent. '
Cynthia giggled. She knew what ex- challenger meant now!
'So, who is this dork?' she asked.
Gary straightened himself up and glared: 'I am not a dork!'
Cynthia raised up her hands in surrender: 'Chill, Chill, I was kidding, but who are you?'
'I am Gary Oak, rising researcher and grandson of Professor Samuel Oak!'
Cynthia drew back in wonder: 'Oh my Arceus, you are the Gary Oak? Thank you for the book on your Sinnoh research! It helped me a lot. '
Gary had done a lot of research on Sinnoh and wrote a book on the topic: 'The Secrets of Sinnoh '. It was quite helpful for Cynthia's own research.
Paul Shinji glared at Gary, who stood with a blush on his cheeks. But then, his eyes got focused on something else.
'Cynthia, are you wearing an Ash Ketchum fangirl shirt under that jacket of yours?!'
Gary passed out and Cynthia was the reddest woman Paul had ever seen in his life.
After some while and Gary's muttering, Cynthia asked: 'Where are you off to?'
'Kalos. We got hold of a powerup called Mega Evolution. Gary wants to research on it. I want to use it. '
'Oh!' Cynthia had heard of it from Diantha before, but not the details. 'Shall we go then?'
Paul choked.
'We?!'
