Chapter 5- The Conquest of Cynthia

'Ash!' The trio was very shocked. 'What are you doing here, at the Lumiose City airport?!'
'The Conference is gonna take place here. Naturally...'
'Oh. That is awesome. ' Gary groaned. 'So, Ashy- boy, how many badges did ya collect? Two? Three?'
'Eight, actually. The next time you mock me... I will burn you. Charizard!'
Charizard gave a very evil leer.
Gary backtracked quickly: 'Er... kidding. See, Paulie- boy? He has more badges than you. '
There was a scurry and two resounding blows. Gary took off with a speed faster than Ash's Sceptile and Greninja, with Paul hot on his heels.

'So, Paul came here to get a Key Stone for his Aggronite? Cool. I tell you, I had absolutely no idea that Mega Stones were found anywhere outside Kalos. Gary came to research, of course. He should seriously consider working with Professor Sycamore. That man is a fucking specialist in Mega Evolution.'
'Indeed. ' Cynthia replied .
'Ah. But...' his face darkened and he leaned towards Cynthia: 'What exactly was the whole fighter jets affair?'
Cynthia decided that she would tell him the truth.
'Three fighter jets attacked the flight. Thanks to your Charizard, we were saved. They had high- tech, long range missiles aiming for us. Later, we found out through further examination that they were military jets from the regional armory. Strange, they were all marked with an I. That is it, I think. '
Ash looked murderous: 'I will kill those people if that is the last thing I do. '
He rose up.
'Wait. I need to make a call. '

He was back.
'I know about Paul and Gary. What were you doing here, in Kalos?!'
'Me... I...' Cynthia stuttered. 'I may or may not have mentioned that I know only the definition of Mega Evolution, not the details. '
'Ah... makes sense. Cynthia, you are looking really good... you know, right?'
Cynthia went red. 'Er... actually, you know... you look like... really formal... sorta like a bad boy...'
Ash chuckled: 'And?'
Cynthia could not control herself and kissed Ash full on the lips. Ash responded with fervor.
After about two minutes, they... well, disconnected.
'I love you, Ash. '
'You too, Cynthia.'
'Wait, Ashy- boy! What the fuck?!'
'You kissed a Champion! You kissed a woman! Impossible! You were supposed to be the densest in the world!'
Ash facepalmed. Of course Paul and Gary had to ruin the moment.
