Chapter 17- The War of Worlds

The HNS Royal Enfield, escorted by four destroyers and nine frigates, and protected by HNS Blaster and four submarines, arrived in the open ocean. The HNS Tesla Striker, and the HNS Nimitz Headley, were the two other aircraft carriers that joined them, along with three SSBNS and other destroyers, frigates and submarines.
'We captured Midway Island two days ago.' Rear Admiral Abrams boomed. 'Royal Enfield has to be protected carefully, with our Tesla Striker if necessary. '
'Not to mention our Nimitz Headley too.' Rear Admiral Kuznetsov added.
The reality was, just nine days ago, the Battle of Midway was a strategic victory. Now, they were headed for Io Jima, another island.
Twelve aircraft carriers from Johto and Kanto launched a straight invasion on the nine Allied aircraft carriers at Midway. HNS Raider Minister, SNS Admiral Gorshkov, SNS Admiral Kirov, SNS Admiral Kuznetsova, KNS Louis de Phillipe and KNS Charles de Gaulle had been lost.
And now...
Missiles crashed into the HNS Royal Enfield, killing Admiral Drake on board.
'Shit!'
'We have a problem. They damaged the most heavily guarded asset.'

At the same time, Lieutenant Surge, was faced with the problem of saving Squadron Leader Harry Owen.
And thus, he took the hit. The bombers had to be protected... the atomic bombs needed to be carried over to Sinnoh.
Before he could dive back into the battle though, a missile crashed into the fighter jet... blowing into pieces...
'This cannot happen!'

'At the end of the day, the battles of Io Jima and Sunburst have been won. The strategic bombers SAF Sky Striker, Hermes and Hercules, as well as the HNS Royal Enfield, are safe. The atomic bombs are in Sinnoh, and we lost 216 aircraft, 678 aircraft in the naval battle, 21 submarines, ten destroyers, four frigates and nine aircraft carriers. They have only five aircraft carriers left while we have nine. They are coming at Guam again.'
