Izuku stared down at the papers Recovery Girl had set down in front of him, they were a set of rules he would need to follow in order to be allowed to stay at UA. That wasn't the issue, the problem was the fact there was no leeway if he made an accidental mistake. If he made a mistake, he would be sent to prison.
"What if I am in a situation where I am unable to get a Pro Heroes help and one of my other classmates attacks me with a Quirk?" Izuku asked giving Recovery Girl a look." Am I expected to just take the abuse, am I not going to be able to defend myself even Quirklessly?"
The woman frowned.
"Unfortunately, due to how precarious your situation is, we cannot make an exception." Recovery Girl stated, before pausing." However you will be accompanied by your Homeroom teacher where ever you need to go."
"Fine, but that doesn't make me feel all that much better, I thought UA prided itself on the safety of all students, regardless of Quirk or background?" Izuku drawled and the woman just winced slightly, score.
He signed the papers, before placing the pen back down and waving the woman away not wanting to deal with bias people right now.
It wasn't surprising in the least people were treating him this way, to be completely honest he sorta deserved it in many ways. However that didn't stop the bitterness from rising inside him, ironically Yagi was the only one who actually treated him like a normal person. When he had been de-aged he had thought his worries about how people would treat him would go away, but in honesty it wasn't much better then it would have been normally.
How was he supposed to have a second chance if everyone treated him like a time-bomb and people wondered why he never attempted to get out of his lifestyle, besides the collapse it would cause the Underground.
The first day of classes were starting tomorrow and he hadn't gotten sleep in over forty-eight hours, mainly due to his determination not to see the Vestiges again.
It was only a matter of time though, till he would collapse out of exhaustion and considering how classes were starting tomorrow, he should probably bite the bullet and risk getting drawn into the void for a chit-chat.
With that decided he got up and made his way over to the bed, laying down and staring up at the ceiling with apprehension. It didn't take very long to fall asleep, even less time for the telltale signs of the void to appear and he suspected the Vestiges had been waiting for him to go to sleep.
This time however unlike the last few times, he blinked his eyes open in a small room with partially destroyed walls and no ceiling. The room had a door that was locked up tightly, with the Second and Third users standing guard facing him. In the middle of the room were nine chairs, almost appearing to be some kind of throne.
He himself was standing in the middle of the chairs, each Vestige sitting in one of them and what looked like a shade of Yagi was also sitting in a throne. Second and Third abandoned their post with clear reluctance and sat down on two of the three empty thrones available, before focusing towards Yoichi.
Yoichi, his little brother looked tired, he suspected it was less about lack of sleep and more about worries and stresses.
"We've thought over what you said and...I realized that you were right in your concerns about my decision." Yoichi began their voice quiet." I have taken a temporary step down as the Vestige's leader as I seem to be having trouble making these decisions, as of right now Hikage who is the least bias as they have never actually met you in person until recently will be in charge of the Vestiges..."
Izuku blinked, before turning to the fourth user as they were the only one he'd not met, so they must be Hikage. The man huffed, before standing up and giving a nod of acknowledgement, before opening their mouth to speak.
