Ch 23. The Straw That Breaks The Camels Back

Izuku blinked his eyes open inside the void, almost immediately getting nearly knocked over by a blur of yellow. When he managed to process what had happened, he nearly broke down at the sight of Toshinori. Santou was right, Toshinori was in the void and they hadn't truly left him behind.

"Toshinori!" Izuku exclaimed, hugging the blonde back and the man just gave a small chuckle.

"Oh, my boy...I am so sorry I had to leave you the way I did, but I was already expiring for so long and I was holding on for you." Toshinori whispered and Izuku pulled back in surprise, having not expected that of all things.

Toshinori had held off as long as he could, for him of all people?

"Why would you do that?" Izuku asked softly and Toshinori just gave him a caring expression.

"Because your brother, in all but blood and I love you, Midor-I mean Aizawa." Toshinori corrected and Izuku giggled." I still can't believe they actually adopted you, but I am glad you have someone there for you in the real world...other then Bakugou of course."

He swallowed, talking with the blonde made his heart ache as he knew they were dead. They weren't going to be there for him in the real world, no more warm hugs or joking with him while Katsuki sat there confused about what they were talking about. Toshinori was really gone, the only time he could see them is in his dreams...literally.

"You can call me Izuku, you know." Izuku offered with a sigh." You allowed me to use your first name, so it's only fair I give the same permission...plus, we're brothers aren't we?"

It was at this moment that Yoichi popped into view between them and Izuku paled at his brother's expression, one of pure mischief. He swallowed, knowing whatever it was his little brother was thinking would likely impact him as well.

"Oooh, I can't wait to tell you all the embarrassing stories I have of my big brother!" Yoichi chirped happily, their green eyes glinting in the Void.

"Oh god, kill me now..." Izuku groaned and Santou walked over with a sympathetic expression on their face." Santou, are you sure I can't re-Vault Yoichi? He's clearly a menace to society."

Santou snorted, but shook his head.

"Not unless you want me and Second to be on your back trying to murder you for the rest of your life." Santou said and Izuku sighed, it had been to good a plan to be true." However, this was to be expected, I would have gotten the same treatment if I hadn't been married to Yoichi...which already makes us Brother-In-Law's."

"Wait, fuck...I forgot I was related by technicality to Second now, now I can use that to my advantage to get them to say their name!" Izuku grinned, rubbing his hands together like a cartoon Villain.

Second glared from a few meters away, looking mildly annoyed at his words.

"Not gonna happen, I'll tell you when I tell you!" Second snapped and Izuku blinked, mildly surprised and pleased at the response.

"So you'll tell me eventually?" Izuku asked and Second grumbled, before reluctantly nodding.

"That's what I said, damned broccoli." Second muttered and Izuku blinked, that was something his boyfriend would say and now that he thought about it...the second user looked an awful lot like Katsuki.

With a hum, he decided to risk something and he threw a guess out there for them to hear.

"Well, I only really need your first name...your last names Bakugou, isn't it?" Izuku said and the second user stared at him, mouth slightly agape as if they saw the most shocking thing in existence.
