"Hey, nerd...it's time to wake up." Katsuki's voice penetrated his ears as Izuku shifted slightly, before blinking his eyes open.

He sat up with a groan, still feeling strangely tired.

~ Thanks for waking me, how long till we have to be at the arena? ~ Izuku asked his new boyfriend, who he really shouldn't be dating, yet here was doing exactly that.

"About fifteen minutes, I wanted there to be enough time to haul your ass to the damn arena, even if your not the first one who needs to fight." Katsuki grumbled and he sighed at the other, before realizing that he didn't even know who his first opponent was.

It must be like that to minimize strategy and focus on showing on the stop skills, however he was someone who didn't really do best being on the spot...as was clearly shown when he had agreed to go on a date with Katsuki to begin with. He really needed to get over that, it was already done and he had enjoyed it, so why was he still so reserved at the idea of it?

He stood up and held his hand out for Katsuki, who just glared at it for a moment before reluctantly grabbing it.

Once they were both standing, he and Katsuki began walking towards the arena for the third and final event. As they walked Izuku spotted the one vs one match ups, he was fighting Shinsou. Which meant he had to keep his promise and fight Quirkless, other then Danger Sense which was passive and wouldn't be able to be turned off...unless.

'Third, can you ask Hikage to temporarily take Danger Sense back?' Izuku asked the man inside his head.

'What?' Third questioned confused.' Why would you want to put yourself at a disadvantage, did something happen?'

Izuku paused, before sighing and explaining how he made a promise to someone who was at a severe disadvantage, if it was a real combat scenario then sure he would have used his Quirk against them...but it wasn't worth it over a sporting event and he wanted to be nice to them as they seemed like a genuinely good person.

'So would you be alright with asking Hikage to do that?' Izuku asked and Third just deadpanned for a moment.

'You do realize that I am not a messenger bird and that since you have Danger Sense you can just ask them yourself, right?' Third pointed out and Izuku blinked, he had gotten so used to having the third user be his contact with the Vestiges while awake he often forgot that Yoichi and Hikage could talk to him now.

'R-Right.' Izuku responded with a stammer, before directing his thoughts to the fourth user.' Hikage, could you retract Danger Sense for my upcoming battle...I want it to be on even ground.'

He felt the buzz of the passive Quirk retreat and smiled, now he could began his match with the purple haired teen.

'Thanks, Hikage.' Izuku chirped and he rushed out onto the large arena field and towards the combat zone.

Shinsou stepped up on the other side, a nervous expression on his face and Izuku thought it might be due to the fact the other couldn't use their Quirk and there was no guarantee in their eyes that he would keep his word at not using a Quirk. He gave the other a small smile, which the purple haired teen responded with one of their own.

He waited, it felt like ages before Midnight announced the start of the round, he ran forwards and threw a punch at Shinsou who barely dodged in time. As they back and forth he found he quite enjoyed being on even ground with someone for once, although in the end it did seem he was making head way on pushing them out of the ring.

With a final move he sent the purple haired teen over the line and out of the arena, before walking over to help them to their feet.

Shinsou looked disappointed, but thanked him for helping him and for keeping his word. He just smiled, before signing to them that he wasn't going to make the match unfair. He did say that they might have been better of doing more physical training before the Sport's Festival and they admitted to having focused on training their Quirk.
