Izuku walked into class and was immediately swamped with concerned peers, he just silently chuckled and Katsuki translated that he was mute now. This seemed to hurt the others slightly, looks of sadness and worry on their faces.
Then Aizawa came in and said the Sport's Festival was the next day, the others had gotten a month to train and Izuku hadn't. That being said, he did have a lot of the strategies he used to use, so he figured this would be the best way of being fair. This way he could say the other had a chance against him, even if that wasn't the complete truth.
For the rest of the day, Izuku felt out of place and half the time he couldn't even communicate with his classmates unless he was next to Katsuki. It made it extra hard to communicate, which lead to mistakes that would have costly in a real scenario.
By the end of the day, Izuku felt completely drained of any hope of just jumping back into his life normally.
However Katsuki came by and offered to take him on their date, which he agreed to since he knew it would cheer him up. Which was something he sorely needed right about now, considering how utterly useless he felt.
So he and Katsuki made their way to the movies, Aizawa trailing behind at a distance as was part of the rules of his stay at UA.
The movie had been good, although he was able to point out a few inaccuracies in the events portrayed on the big screen. Some of which made even the grumpy Katsuki smile or chuckle at, although they quickly pretended they never had when he turned towards them with a smirk.
After the movie they went to eat dinner, it was nice.
Izuku would forever deny it, but he had been shocked senseless when they had insisted on paying for the food. It wasn't exactly a cheap place and he had Yagi's support for the date, but Katsuki didn't.
However the glare the spiky blonde gave him, told him not to argue and so he reluctantly allowed them to pay for the dinner. Although he spent the entire walk back to UA's gates thanking them, he was pretty sure it got to the point Katsuki was ready to strangle him and just go to prison.
As they approached the front gates, he hesitated.
This is where he needed to say he couldn't go on another date with them, this is when he should just say it was fun but he didn't feel the click that was necessary to be in a relationship...but that would be an outright lie. In truth he had felt a click, he had lost all sense of time with how fun he had with the spiky blonde.
"So, Deku...do you want to go on another, date, sometime?" Katsuki asked and Izuku swallowed, feeling his world shift.
~ S-Sure. ~ Izuku responded in return and the other nodded, an emotion Izuku couldn't identify shining in their eyes and plastered on their face.~ I would like that, thanks for walking me back...you didn't have too. ~
"No problem, nerd." Katsuki grumbled and turned to walk away, leaving him alone in front of the gates to UA.
A few moments after Katsuki disappeared Izuku noticed Aizawa walk up to him, to let him through the gates. He gave the Underground Hero a small smile, before making his way towards the place he now lived.
It had certainly been an interesting date, that was for sure....

Izuku hadn't visited the Vestige last night after his date, but he kinda wished he had as he wanted to sit down at talk to them about how to move forward. Cause frankly there was no guarantee that his Quirk wasn't a threat, sure he himself and the All For One inside him weren't what he'd call a threat....but the copy that his Doctor had was.
