Izuku just stood there, with Santou's arms wrapped around him in a tight hug and refusing to let go. He could their body shaking and with a feeling of shock, he realized that they were crying. He had hurt his family again, he had made the same mistake again and it was his fault that there were hurt.

It was Yoichi all over again, just with the Vault.

Everything he touched just broke, it was exhausting and he wondered if he wanted the suicide attempt to work or not at this point. He hadn't expected to wake in the void after doing it, he hadn't expected the third user to stick by him regardless of whether he had threatened them with turning to his old ways.

Yet they had, it caused a his throat to tighten and he stopped struggling in the hug, accepting it as he wrapped his arms around his friend and third brother. Cause that's what they were, his brother and despite not sharing blood like he and Yoichi...it was just as real to him.

"I-I'm sorry, Santou." Izuku whispered feeling utterly broken, his heart just aching and his thoughts in a whirlwind of emotion.

"If you survive this, never do it again." Santou whispered sounding so vulnerable." Just the thought of losing you, Izuku, I don't think I could handle that. Your my brother, your friend, and you have entire life to live...just promise me you won't do it again."

That would be difficult, but he would try for Santou.

"I promise." Izuku replied and the man let go, taking a step back as they wiped tears from their eyes.

Izuku blinked his eyes open, the sound of beeping filling his ears and he groaned. Sluggishly looking to his side, to blink in shock. Katsuki was sitting beside his hospital bed, dark circles under their eyes and it looked as if they had been crying. Not only that, but the way their stomach was grumbling it was clear they hadn't eaten in a long time, making his heart hurt.

"K-Katsuki..." Izuku spoke his voice raspy and almost immediately the spiky blonde shot upwards wide eyed.

"Izuku, oh thank god your alright...I'm so fucking sorry." Katsuki exclaimed looking dead on their feet, it was clear they had barely gotten any sleep." I came to apologize for being rash, but I walked and you were just there...there was much blood and I would have never forgiven myself if I was the cause of your death. I'm so so sorry, Izuku..."

He just stared at his friend and...were they still boyfriends...the pain of seeing that much guilt in their eyes and on their face was to much to bare.

"Kacchan, I f-forgive you...it hurt, I won't lie and you did it at the worst possible time considering Toshinori or All Might's death, but I forgive you." Izuku whispered tiredly, giving the spiky blonde a small smile." I love you, that doesn't...change just because...you made lashed out...everyone does that at times..."

Katsuki shook their head, clearly still upset.

"I didn't even let you explain properly, but I was so angry." Katsuki growled under their breath, clearly frustrated if the way their palms crackled was any indication." I have Intermittent explosive disorder, it makes me react...badly to situations, often lashing out in a much bigger way then is actually necessary."

"Oh, that makes sense I suppose..." Izuku admitted, it did answer a lot of his questions about the spiky blonde, but he wasn't going to cower away cause his boyfriend had a disorder.

They just huffed in mild amusement, before sighing.

"I take med's and go to therapy to manage it, but sometimes it slips through." Katsuki admitted with a wince." That being said, it doesn't excuse my behaviour and I understand if you don't want to pursue a relationship with me..."
